Kilgo and Hamilton

Are Kilgo and Hamilton still free agents? Unless the situation with Branch changes, we need a backup NT.

Hamilton received a three week injury settlement, which I believe means they have to wait 6 weeks before they can sign him again.

The Patriots picked Angelo Blackson over Kilgo to be on the practice squad. 6'4", 318, played 23% of the Titan's defensive snaps each of the past two seasons.

I don't think so.

I think that we should have a backup NT active. It may be early to cut Branch. However, I don't think that having a backup NT is out of line.

The bigger issue to me is this means we have to essentially make brown a NT. Brown is more effective as the other DT. It weakens us at both spots.
