I agree that some fan bases are made up a bit differently than others, but security policies at the stadiums themselves have a huge impact on what happens in the stadium. Look at the difference in Foxboro before and after the Krafts. It's night and day. I'm not saying there's not a difference in fan bases, just that the stadium and message board cultures aren't necessarily a good representation of the makeup of the entire fanbase.Perhaps, but that's an arbitrary assumption. Prior to the game, a Chiefs fan on the Chiefs board predicted Tom Brady would be "anally raped" by the Chiefs defense. Others chimed in with similar "sentiments." Is that necessarily a moderating issue? But as I said, my personal experience as a visiting fan in other stadiums pretty much has correlated with the "quality" of expression on their message boards. Some fan bases are excellent, Green Bay being a great example.
