They have to decide about Reagor this week, they used up their three elevations from the Practice Squad This may explain some about why he got the number of snaps he did. So at this point the depth chart is likely:

Bourne, Douglas, Juju, Parker, Thornton, Boutte, Reagor.

Thats a pretty poor list, especially the way Juju and Parker are playing. Obviously Thornton isn’t going anywhere (they aren’t releasing or trading him), but I think using 7 spots (not including Slater) is at least one too many. Though neither Boutte nor Reagor has done much, I‘d much prefer seeing them take snaps away from the two vets, at least they figure to have some potential to turn a routine play into a big play. Time for Parker to go.

Bourne and Pop are good. Pop and Onwenu were the biggest reasons our offense actually functioned for the first time in a month. Everyone else on that list is either a steaming pile of ****, or an unproven commodity with a possible attitude problem.

Thornton is doing his job. He looks good out there. The decision to go short all game was deliberate because of the wind
PF2 was saying maybe TT didn’t like being a decoy so dogged it and didn’t clear the CB that broke up a pass for KB. If that’s what happened he should be benched and inactive is all I’m saying. He had an assignment, PF2 claims maybe he didn’t execute because he didn’t like what he was tasked to do and I’m saying he doesn’t get to pick and choose what parts of his job he decides to not do because he doesn’t like it. That’s a loser mentality.

Really hope Thornton is more than a one trick pony.
It doesn’t matter how many tricks he’s got if he doesn’t do what the ringmaster tells him to do. If he dogged it running a decoy route and it caused a PBU because he didn’t clear the defender out, that cost a down, wasted a play, and he should be benched for it.

if he has that kind of an attitude maybe Boutte’s entitlement would be a better choice to see the field, to find out if he can back it up.

Ok I get it maybe that's why he only saw Three snaps. BOB said he would go hard on WR's if they screw up. Hope Tyquan learns from it I would love for them to Unleash him in Miami.

I would move Parker but I think we would hear crickets in his so called market. So is three PS elevation the Max?? So what will they do with Reagor now??

Are people fully confident that Tyquan on another team doesn't become at least a #2 receiver? I know I'm not.

This isn't a Harry type situation yet. He had Brady as a QB. The reality was immediately known

Yes. He can't find the field with even parker and reagor doing nothing.

Look at Douglas. When s WR is good they find snaps.

Thornton looking like a bust of a pick. Imagine if we had Pickens instead?

Bill trusts the vets over rookies almost to a fault.

Douglas didn't see the field again after the fumble. Meanwhile Bourne is out right back on the field.

Boutte can't be worse than parker who is giving us nothing but excuses

Think his route running/cuts look good? Sharp & crisp? Or is he just running straight to routes? I know there's little work evaluate due to his stint on the ir... I need to pay better attention to him on the field I suppose

They can keep him on the roster and use 7 spots on WRs (not including Slater or Montgomery) or release him or release another WR or put one of the other WRs on IR.

I would either release Parker or put Juju on IR and use the next 4 weeks to give Reagor, Boutte, and Thornton plenty of snaps. Parker has never and will never live up to his potential and has had plenty of opportunities here and in Miami to prove otherwise. I personally think that Reagor is that same category but would like to see him tried to find out.

Getting back to Boutte, I think he has the potential to be a good WR, not a star but a good contributor. He did a good job elevating his level of play to make the team out of camp but has to accept being in the position he is in now and make the best of it. All has to do is look at what Troy Brown and Bourne have done with their opportunities and commit to emulating those guys.

With that said, I take a back seat to no one when it comes to loving Troy Brown as a player but they need a better WR coach than him next year.

Well put my friend couldn't agree more.

Well, the receivers seemed open this week. Personally, I am incapable of evaluating a receiver coach and his capabilities.

I heard he has to stay after practice, take tap dancing lessons, and tweet “Don’t free me” a hundred times before he will be activated again.

Same as Bart Simpson having to stay after school and write "I shall Not..." on the blackboard.

I would've loved to see what Marcus Jones would be able to do out there next to Demario Douglas. Having either one go in motion and run a wheel route while the other trailed him into the flat would be mind boggling for any defense.

Marcus the Midget is gone for the season as per Troy Brown.

He blew past his CB running straight down the field, but then I saw him break free on a post from the slot position, and finally the play that he was held by Amik Robertson was a Slugo route, which he broke by shoving Robertson out of the way. He was gone.

So you're certain?!

Because I see him getting open and our QB not being able to find the guy open downfield.

Douglas looks great, he's getting a lot of short and intermediate routes.

This is why I'm saying we don't know what we have yey.

Hoping for a barn burner downfield like many are on this thread when we don't even know if such a WR would be totally useless for us, it's an odd position to be in.

It's quite possible Tyquan does better playing with a guy who can hit the long ball.

Jonnu Smith has already exceeded his New England totals in just a few games, and Nelson Algholor is projected to exceed his Patriot totals by 33% at the rate he's going.
