Julian Edelman

Do I honestly start Edelman over Michael Thomas, Aj green, juju, or over flex James white? Or is Edelman on a pitch count?

Pitch count. They'll gradually increase his snaps over next few weeks. Should be full go in couple weeks. Still could be highly productive anyway. He's healthy, looks quick and explosive; but just hasn't faced a lot of contact in a while .Gronk likely out for Indy so I wouldn't start je this week. Next week with Gronk back and JG more incorporated in the flow would be good time to go squirrel. Just my 2 ¢.

How the hell did you snag so many good receivers? I’m guessing that your RB group consists of Brandon Bolden, Rod Smith, and Stevan Ridley; with CJ Beatherd making a special appearance at QB.

Dynasty league. Get to keep 2 players you draft as rookies. I grabbed Michael Thomas a few years back.

Wow. That’s a pretty nice score on a rookie for a dynasty league. You made a great move. You could make a strong argument that he’s the best receiver in the game.

Only another possible unicorn. Nothing to see here.

Thanks, grabbed david Johnson as a rook as well although he’s had a down year due to that offensive line. Grabbed Sony late this year so may just Make a swap for next year and beyond.

I’ve never played in a dynasty league, but it sounds pretty challenging. I’m assuming that a certain number of positions or players are designated as keepers, and the rest of the team is re-drafted every year? Is that somewhere in the ballpark?

Exactly. The way we do it is we get to keep 2 players and they have to be drafted in rounds 6 or later (so it takes some luck and just having an idea of what rooks will make good pros.)

Good move by the Celtics, Edelman played ping pong with Gordon Hayward during his "training" and Hayward beat him 9 out of 10 times.. but then Hayward was a high school tennis star in Indiana..

I posted something like this back in 2016, two years ago, just as his production was quietly falling off. He is 32 and had a bunch of injuries. I will say this, though: I’m quite sure that even with lower efficiencies he will still make the offense much better, provided he isn’t Wes Welker bad (at the end of Welker's career.)

He is far better than anyone we have right now working out of the slot. Even a 75% Edelman is going to cause matchup problems and get the rest of the offense clicking.

I would pitch count him against the wounded Colts...start him next week against KC.

I think Edelman plays almost every snap tonight.
Looks like gronk is playing tonight too.

If JE plays every snap I'd be pleasantly surprised. I expect he'll get winded and need some breathers every now and then. He'll play a ton though.

He was pretty bad in preseason wasn't he? I don't think I caught every game.

Should I start Josh Gordon or Julian Edelman tonight on my fantasy team?

I wouldn't say bad. He looked like he hadn't played football in a year. Had some drops. Nothing I'm worried about.

Its all about getting his timing and conditioning where it needs to be which I fully expect will be fine in a few games.
