Judon apparently doesn't think he's going to get paid.

seeing as Judon missed most of last season, is it prudent to wait and see that he is back to his former self?
also, if the D is going to be an edge setting D, and Judon is called on to set the edge, as well as get after the QB, can he set the edge into his mid 30's?
if he is a 1 trick pony type player, QB pressure, surely there is a market for that type of player. but certainly not at the top of market. good offenses pick on edge rushers only with runs plays at his open spot on the field, and pick them apart with short passes into those same open spots of the field.
There have been times that I've seen Judon when he seems to give up the edge to go for the sack.

The extra cap space for the league took away the Pats advantage. Teams were now all able to sign their key players and there wasn't much left for the Pats. It was bad timing.
There were so many FA WR's on the market who basically resigned with their teams except for Ridley. The People wanting at LT over a WR are going to be happy we Drafted both Polk and Baker when we did.

I lean towards you being 100% correct.
I stand firm in that Okorafor will be good enough, even an upgrade to last season. I also believe Sow at LG is an upgrade over Strange. Onwenu had all offseason to workout, rather than last years offseason where he was injured. Wallace is a 4 year starter at RT for a power house school in a power house conference. he competed every Saturday for 4 years against NFL caliber edge players.
the OL will work out if coaching, health and scheme all come together.
the WR room last year was worse than the OL last year. Polk, Baker and year 2 of Pop could be exciting. again, coaching and scheme.

Considering last preseason you told me Sow was destined for the practice squad, you saying Okorafor will suddenly be good after sucking in Pittsburgh for 6 years doesn’t fill me with optimism.

Like I said before Chuk Okorafor will at least the very least be our Starting RT if he doesn't work out on the Left Side. Siddy Sow was a very good pick wouldn't surprise me if Cole Strange gets Traded down the road. The C Wallace pick could be a steal down the road: Orlando Brown and Trent Brown weren't First or even Second Round picks these guys develop over time.

last year I told you Sow was not a RT nor LT.
I also expected OG's Strange, Onwenu and Reiff to be healthy. that more than likely would have Sow on the PS or the 9th man in an 8 man rotation. to his credit, Sow stepped up when the other 3 where not available and at his natural OG position, Sow performed very well.
My belief today is that the team is going to be in very good shape with Sow/Andrews/Onwenu along the interior, with Andrews, Robinson and maybe Turner coming along quickly.
understandably big if's, but if Wallace pans out at RT and Maye/Polk/Baker click, the team is a drafted stud LT in 2025 to having a roster that can win in the 2025 playoffs.

Wozzy I think our Position Coaches and Coaching are going to be much better this time around than the previous regime.

Judon wants a new deal, and JuJu is washed at $10m per.
you think any team trades for JuJu rather than wait for him to be released?
JuJu's salary is 6.5 mill that is all the acquiring team has to pay. The 3mill pro rated bonus is on the Pats cap. I dont understand why you think JuJu is washed, he was injured and sat last year. He was running fine in camp earlier. Cinci has 21mil in cap room. They lost Tyler Boyd. They also have a huge need at rush end. That is 2/3rd of their available space. Leaving them with 7mill remaining. Both players have no long term commitment. I would trade both together for the 3rd rd pick next year.

Last year you told me in camp Sow would be lucky to make the practice squad. I told you he was a superior athlete and there was a long time before game one. In game one he was starting. Stop lying...

Now you're Sow's biggest fan. I'm not knocking you, you don't think measurables matter at all so it's no wonder you think Okorafor is suddenly going to be good after sucking in Pittsburgh for 6 years.

Can better coaches make an average player good? I think having all the coaches on the same team will help, having all the offensive coaches teaching the same system will help a lot. Having better QB play should also help. Collaboration only works when everyone is working towards the same goal, a team with infighting can't beat exterior opponents.
