Judon apparently doesn't think he's going to get paid.

scheme and positional coaching
Pats have had neither the past 2 seasons
Agreed. As Lombardi himself said they didn't have an offense they were just running a bunch of plays

How is an aging Judon going to help us? Squeeze one extra win at best if even that?
If that's the case they should get five more like him and we'd have a 10 win season.

Got admire the agenda of the tankers here: crap the bed this year in the hope that bye and bye there'll be some pie.

What fun this season will be!

If tanking is what we are doing, wake me when we have a football team again -- if I should live so long.

Ridley would have likey been a short term rental. Nice player, not what he was in ATL but still good player. I want us to start producing WRs that we draft.
Hopefully the change in WR coaches and game plan will help unlock the position.

I think so. Listening to past patriots players speak they've all said learning the patriots offense was so complex and mentally taxing. Under AVP I like the direction of where the offense projects. Drake along with polk and baker if they all develop like we feel they will the league will know full well who AVP is.

Since Judon tweeted hes not getting an extension im almost positive he will get one
Love Judon, hes probably my favorite current patriot but man is he wrong on well pretty much every armchair GM move hes predicted. So im guessing a huge extention in the next day or two

Pay the man. Keep hearing this downside of 30 being tossed around. Since Andre Tippett, who in the last 30+ years has given the Patriots more of a sack threat than Judon? Do you really want to lose that over a 3rd or 4th round pick?

The data is starting to become skewed in regards to to todays fitness and nutrition. I’m thinking he can play at a high level until 33 or 34. Even then, whats a bad year for MJ? 9.5 sacks? Having him on the edge makes the whole line better. Barmore taking double teams assures success which works hand and hand with what Judon does. I’d hate to lose him and watch him get 10+ sacks over the next 3 years to a rival.

Not more of a sack threat, but Chandler Jones was up there. Like Judon, they became better players when they left their original teams.

I would argue that Judons leadership in the locker room is a big impact too

was it in 2023?

if so, call in Wilfork to be leader.

Help me out here. @jimnance is arguing Haynes was better than law? It's hard for me to understand that logic.. law is a HOFer.. can you help me to understand Haynes game in comparison to law.. and why Haynes isn't In the HOF.. he's ranked # 49 in top 100 player's... Sanders is ranked overall #1 CB of all time... thanks for your feedback.

Not sure if I was quoted by mistake, but I'm the wrong guy to ask. I never watched Haynes play, but his name is always thrown around as one of the best Pats players of all time. I started watching in the early 90's.

Cashing 13 checks while on IR in '23 and then expecting a big raise is quite ambitious.

Kendrick Bourne approves this message.

Now...let's cue the duckboats!

We have absolutely no clue what Judon or his agent are asking for, or if the delay in extending him is coming from his side.

Keeping his current salary isn't asking for a big raise, that's obviously what he's asking for, perhaps with a bump for the massive cap increase that happened this year.

The only dispute now is number of years, how much injury contingencies are written into the deal, or if the Pat's want to cut bait entirely and go cheap with Jennings.

If you get injured on the job, you get hazard pay. Just because Judon gets paid more than you, doesn't make him wrong for cashing the checks.

Haynes is an all time NFL great, who had some of his best years in Oakland. I was pretty young, but I remember Haynes being a step ahead of Ty (who is also an all time great). I just confirmed that he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1997. By all accounts Haynes was the real deal.
