Just saw a rumor pop up (on this site) that McDaniels has Caserio as one of his preferred GMs, or that's what he said in his interview with the Browns.

If Brady leaves New England, I think it would cool if he went to the Browns, and Josh could probably lure him there. They have a ton of talent. Josh would come in and do a full Cutler on Baker Mayfield. Brady with that offense....plus all the haters have been saying for years, "derp, what if Brady played for the Browns tho????"

The Browns aren't giving up on Baker yet and part of the attraction for McDaniels is Baker who he liked alot coming out. He's not going to jettison him

That changes nothing about my post, as it was about McDaniels making sense for the Browns, and not vice versa. If you're McDaniels, you just make damned sure that you get some protections built into the contract.

Bill said in the SB 53 ring ceremony to everyone there that he was glad Josh stayed...he had so much confidence in him that he basically gives him the keys to the offense. Tom more likely to stay here if McD stays
