I think you missed my point on the EP "system ". IMHO the EP at this point is more of a language than an offensive philosophy. We've seen a myriad of different kinds of offenses all run with the EP language. I think you are focusing too much on the EP being a specific offense, which it no longer is.

. I DO share your concern about making sure Drake doesn't take a step back because he has a new OC. We'll if YOU understand this, and I understand it, then for dawned sure Mike and Josh get it... AND, as far as I know, AVP has not been fired

I stated this a few years back after the article about EP came out showing that it was just that. A language and no longer JUST an offensive philosophy. But people on the board didn't want to listen. You were a part of that thread and it's the same people, again, telling you that you're wrong and they are right. Which I always find remarkable since you're one of the few who actually COACHED football at any level that participate on this board.

It will be interesting to see what happens with AVP and McAdoo. Someone mentioned in another thread that McAdoo worked almost exclusively with Milton while T.C. McCartney worked with Maye and Brissett.

I wanted the Pats to bring in someone like Matt Luke, Alex Atkins or Sam Gregg. Guys with experience as OC in College but also with Coaching O-line.

Contrary to many, the #1 position issue on the Pats has been the O-line. Part of it comes from the talent brought in via FA not working out, but also those drafted and not retained. Such as Thuney and, a lesser extent, Wynn. Losing Thuney set the Pats back extremely and, unfortunately, Cole Strange hasn't worked out as well at LG. The knee injury definitely set him back. It will be interesting to see what the Pats do with him or if they trade him to a team team that needs a Starting quality back-up.

What a snoozer. And of course, being paid by another team so our cheapskate owner doesn't have to spend anything, as usual. **** MEDIOCRITY. FFS.

I bet you Hoyer returns as QB coach. He’s cool with McDaniels and tight with Andrews. Apparently got kicked out for *****ing about Patricia.

He’d be able to help with transition to EP and Maye making line calls.

Real honey will not dissolve in water readily.

Honey and EVOO are among the most counterfeited foods.
I’ll try that and see if mine passes the test.
I use natural Peanut Butter, cinnamon and a crushed banana.
Do you blend it all together?

I forgot cinnamon which I put in as well. I really don’t taste it though.

I like adding sliced banana, blueberries and raspberries topped with truwhip.

Also i will not do any research whatsover, will not watch any videos and google no one

but i will fight all you LOSERS wanting defense on the 1st round

Good night
Well then…

Only way I’m taking offense is if Hunter falls or we trade back. At this time, The OT’s and McMillan are not worthy of the #4 pick in my opinion. Not when you have two possible game wreckers in Abdul Carter or Mason Graham available or at least one should be.

Well if he acts like a dbag I’m certain that Vrabel will put him in his place.
JMD has failed when he didn't have any checks and balances. My belief is that his professional personality was shaped by working with Brady and BB from a young age. Both have strong demanding personalities. JMD does not have the ability to act that way without pissing people off. Vrabel has the ability to keep those tendencies in check while providing air cover if JMD needs support holding the players accountable.

Yes once the steel cut oats are cooked I mix the ingredients into the oatmeal and then let it sit on the stove a few minutes.

I've considered them too and I'll probably change my mind several more times throughout the process. Right now I'm going off the opinion of a friend of mine who is a Michigan fan and he likes Johnson a little more than Graham and we need WR way more than CB. I also think there are a lot of good options in free agency for a CB2.

For now I'm in on Tet. Let's see how free agency goes and the combine. And let's see how the draft order seems to set up.

PS: FWIW that same friend isn't sold on Tet and he thinks Carter should be the pick.
Need as January 22nd matters little.

All signs seem to indicate they want to try Strange out at center. They are trying to redeem the 1st round flop into a serviceable center now. If he can play the new position more power to him but he has been a disappointment ever since he was drafted.

The real question is David Andrews. If Josh wants him back, then our IOL is Strange-Andrews-Onwenu. If not then it will be Robinson-Strange-Onwenu. Either way Strange is a starter and our best OL-man at the moment.

From "The Ringer"

OK, let’s ignore everything else and just look at how McDaniels’s offenses performed without Brady.

2008Patriots7th
2009Broncos20th
2010Broncos20th
2011Rams32nd
2020Patriots23rd
2021Patriots10th
2022Raiders15th
2023Raiders27th
But he wasn’t the OC most of those years. He was either an HC or a random assistant.

If you only count the years he was an OC you’re left with 3 results - 7th, 23rd and 10th. Carrying Matt Cassel and Mac Jones to those results is impressive, and while 23rd in 2020 is lower, I think it’s actually still impressive considering their QB couldn’t throw, their WR1 was Damiere Byrd and their TE1 was Ryan Izzo.

Lets go

If we take our regression at least partly from the coaching staff, our defense should improve naturally. Plus with White and Barmore (still), I think we at least have a foundation

Foundation which does not exist on offense. Arguably, not one guy there is even above average. Not even Maye right now. People are so enamored with his boundless potential that the present is being offuscated. He is not there yet and he might not scratch the ceilling of his potential this next year, and thats ok.

You know what would help him do that in year 2? Having GREAT (or at least above freaking average) players around him.

OT and especially WR command rivers of money nowadays. We are going to need to start drafting these guys well yo keep a great core long-term. Why not start with the Blue-est chip we can, at #4? I really like McMillan's size, but I will be good with Hunter if indeed he is this world-breaker some seem to think he is

Defense doesnt win championships anymore

JMD has a lot to prove when he comes back. His name doesnt have any luster left after the Raiders disaster and Adams talking trash about him. I’m hoping that added more drive for him this year to be innovative
