Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was the guy that Erica Leigh said was coming here, and there were reports of sightings at Logan, but after seeing his pic it’s obvious that the meme likely started with Larry Fitzgerald.

I believe that it’s just a meme that is often shared on reddit that likely started several years ago—regarding someone claiming that they had spotted Larry Fitzgerald (IIRC) at Logan airport. It may have even been that guy that Erica Leigh said was definitely signing here. The defensive player. Can’t think of his name.

At any rate, somewhere right around that time period people began sharing that same meme of the guy at the kiosk every time the team is suspected to be interested in a player. Obviously, the gag is that the player rarely looks like the guy that they’re claiming, and sometimes he’s even white.

Seems like all the outside free agents we brought in these past two weeks have been younger type players.

Not sure Nelson fits in bb’s young movement.

But on the other hand, if bb keeps drafting wr slugs, then we could use a guy like Nelson in 2019.
