Thoughts about adding him?
Raiders release Jordy Nelson
Sign him, and we'll use the money that Flowers has to return to us to pay him
Has sort of a Decker or Wayne feel to it but I mean hell, he's gotta be better than Hogan was last season. Right?
Perfect candidate for mid level $$$ signing with an August departure
Try the veal
Good for him. No
Eric Decker 2019
Wouldn’t be opposed. He had 750 yards last year with Carr throwing to him...
Surprised at the resistance to Nelson. Yeah, he's old and maybe he's toast, maybe not. But he made his career on route-running, iirc, and he's as good at it as anyone. Reading defenses, finding the hole or leverage, and getting there is kind of how Welker, Jules, and DA did so well in the Pats' offense.
Nelson seems like a perfect fit. Shouldn't be too expensive (especially since the dumb-ass Raiders just paid him $3m BEFORE releasing him, lol).
Jules, Nelson, Dorsett and Gronk (and Gordon)? Not great, not terrible (and not bad at all if Gordon can play).
Nelson is a real wr, comparisons to Decker...come on people, dont be ridiculous. Nelson has been a top 10 wr in this league for a number of years.
Jordy Nelson is done.
Yuck. Gordon is a huge if and I’m surprised the Pats still believe in him. Gronk will probably miss time if even plays at all. Nelson is like Hogan at this point. Brady should be pissed if he’s given crap to work with again.
Meh, you hate everybody.
(Actually I'm not smart enough to evaluate how he'd do right now but I wanted to look like I was.)
I wouldn't mind seeing him try out though.
I think he'd be a decent addition, if we's willing to take a seriously lowball offer. It already looks like the Pats are only signing FAs who count minimally (or not at all) against the top 51.
If he’s free, why not?
Where was I wrong? Edelman is a stud. At least I can be objective, try it.
Maybe it wasn't Hogan but instead Brady? I recall Hogan open so many times yet Brady had other ideas.
Separate names with a comma.
