Yeah, he's old and maybe he's toast, maybe not. But he made his career on route-running, iirc, and he's as good at it as anyone. Reading defenses, finding the hole or leverage, and getting there is kind of how Welker, Jules, and DA did so well in the Pats' offense.
Nelson seems like a perfect fit. Shouldn't be too expensive (especially since the dumb-ass Raiders just paid him $3m BEFORE releasing him, lol).
Jules, Nelson, Dorsett and Gronk (and Gordon)? Not great, not terrible (and not bad at all if Gordon can play).
Yuck. Gordon is a huge if and I’m surprised the Pats still believe in him. Gronk will probably miss time if even plays at all. Nelson is like Hogan at this point. Brady should be pissed if he’s given crap to work with again.

Has sort of a Decker or Wayne feel to it but I mean hell, he's gotta be better than Hogan was last season. Right?
