Joe Montana thinks Deflategate is "no big deal"

I never liked the "it's no big deal" approach. It implies that something wrong was done, and there's zero evidence of any wrongdoing.

There is evidence of wrongdoing, so to say that there is zero evidence is incorrect. The evidence is very weak, but it's still evidence.

I wonder if it's beginning to dawn on Montana and others who teed off on Brady a few months ago that if Brady takes this to court with Jeffrey Kessler and the NFLPA, they will all likely be called to give depositions under oath and pain of perjury on league practices over the decades. I'm firing up the popcorn machine!

If the evidence in question is enough to get people sentenced, then most of us would be in jail (assuming someone turned us in)?

I know, it's not the legal system and the players gave away the rights in the CBA, ... But, most Americans should have built in that they need more evidence to support a crime. Unless, it makes them feel better abotu themselves/team?

The evidence is pretty strong, Colts were caught red handed tampering with that ball.

Despite the claim of Wells and Goodell, the evidence in question does not even meet the "preponderance" standard. It certainly doesn't rise to the level of "beyond a reasonable doubt", which is the standard in criminal law.

Agree. Goodell seems to be making it suite whatever he thinks he can get away with.

But it does. Haven't you read the word "deflator" in the 243 page report? Oh and Brady didn't turn over his phone either. Apparently you focused on the science.

Also, the only team in contention with the Patriots for "Greatest NFL dynasty" is now an admitted (at least 2 times) person who is smart enough to continually seek competitive advantage.

Hate that removed word, especially when it's associated with what is basically an equipment violation,
