Hmm, how about a team that is all about the money (cap room/savings) and has no commitment to its players? Don't dog a guy for going after a big paycheck. Asante gave several yrs of service here, played hard, won rings and now he's moving onto the next phase of his life. I for one wish him all the best and I'm grateful for his years to the team. I wonder why people dog players who go for a big payday that is in their best interest. If it was in the Patriots' best interest to cut a player, you think they would hesitate for a minute?
i see where your coming from, but me as a person money is not a motivation, im a person about loyalty, sure money makes thing sweeter, but me as a person more motivated to make history, it's a shame i live in the u.k where there is little teams that play american football, as i certainly would be enlisted in one by now, trying to make the pros, as either a tight end or linebacker.
im asking you directly in life, are you motivated by money, or making a name for yourself?
now on AS himself directly, NEP took him as a 4th round pick, and molded into the player he is, if it was not for BB and the coaching staff, its unlikely he will be half the player he is now, i just wish that the lasting memory he left us the fans, was the game winning interception, rather than the drop, but hey like my sig says, forget about then, ive moved on from the superbowl and i cant wait for the draft i wish asante all the best of luck in philly, one of my best friend is a philly fan, (my other friends are giants, panthers and raiders fans see the connection?)
