I'll play devil's advocate. How many pedestrian QBs has our defense made look like Probowlers? Don't they have a better QB than PY? What happens when our young, inexperienced interior O-Line finally wilt to a more athletic, experienced, powerful, and heavy defensive line? And our defensive line struggles against a strong running attack?

It's a team that we beat by a combined 3 points last year (a team that went 4-12), and now they're better.

Umm, the Bills DL have 4 pro bowlers and Bill is beefing up our DL.

Look at their QB situation and we can dismiss them. Fitzpatrick is awful. A mediocre QB would have the Jets up by four TDs right now.

Same thing when they played the Colts.

Fitz is the best QB the Jets have had since Pennington, and is just as fragile. If they can keep him healthy for the entire season I will be shocked!

Wow....In the pre-season, some talking heads were saying Miami started with six games against no top tier QBs. The hope was they could start out 6-0 or 5-1 and then maybe go from there and get into the playoffs. If they fall to 1-3, I think Philbin gets fired. He really seems to have lost the team.

They have an easy schedule, but they are not good enough to beat every bad to average team on their schedule. They will end the season with 8-9 wins.

And sadly, given the sorry state of the AFC, that may be enough for the playoffs.
