Wonder if they’re still on the hook for Revis, Cromartie, Mangold, Sanchez, etc. That was a real “genius” cap strategy that we heard about from the NY press. You just need to ignore the ramifications for years after.

I will respectfully disagree with this assessment.

After hearing coach Gase today allowing the media dictate the narrative on the gm situation, I was reminded once again how lucky we are to have a coach who handles the blood sucking media to perfection. It was pathetic hearing him go back and forth trying to explain and justify himself. Thank goodness for coach Bill.

a butt lift?...hmmm, that reminds me...they used to call it that in the Jete meeting room when the O linemen would have to help Blubbagutz Ryan out of his director's chair...

She and those other clowns Kyle Brandt and Schraeger know next to nothing about football. How ANY of those people (Kay Adams included) get a TV show when NONE of them except Nate Burleson has any experience playing football, scouting, or GMing is beyond me. And while they are not qualified to speak football, they are just good in front of a microphone. That's it. Same deal with most political pundits - they are just good talkers.

Unfortunately in today's media, it's not really WHAT you're saying but HOW you say it and how you LOOK while saying it. Credibility and knowledge take a backseat to hawttakez and flash.

    Mmm...yeah, I'd bang her...

But yeah, as a "broadcast journalist" (or whatever they call themselves) she's completely worthless.

Nate Burleson sucks. Willie Mac should've been assigned the job instead of him.

At least Schrager had been a writer & reporter before GMF...Burleson only knows the game from the most narcissistic position possible: a WR.

The one most to blame for this clown car of a program is the show's producer, whoever that is, who allows all this to happen on a daily basis.

By the way... I didn't do a draftnik draft recap this year, but here's what I had on N'Keal Harry...

Rd 1, Pick 32: N’Keal Harry, WR, AZ State.

How does a 6’2” son of some lady in St. Vincent dropped in some forgotten spot in the Caribbean… oh never mind, you get the idea. I’m obsessed with Hamilton, he’s from the Caribbean, badda bing badda (click) boom. That said, if there’s a jump ball he is not throwing away his shot. Clamps down on a Winter’s Ball like a Federalist does on financial policy and stays glued to his route like a penniless idealist to a Schuyler Sister. But his most impressive attribute, a knack for coming down with the contested ball, ensured he would rise up until someone pulled the trigger. Click Boom. Afterthought: Bolsters the Pats’ apostrophe corps. Pats Draftnik Grade: A

Jete offense will be terrible because their offensive line is terrible. QB play will be hard to evaluate with so much pressure.

Jete defense will be terrible too. No CBs. No DEs. Just don't try to run it up the middle and you should be fine.

    The Jete suck.

8 wins is their ceiling with 6-7 most likely.

According to reports here is the leading candidate to put the Jets in the right direction and lead them to the promiseland.

Adam Gase is seen headed to training camp with Gregg Williams behind the wheel.
This is by far the most brilliant Jets braintrust coach combination.

I think you have to widen out that histogram. If you're running projections, let's call 1 SD from the norm in a normal distribution (i.e., 68% of results) anywhere from 5 to 8 wins. One standard deviation from the norm, I can see 4 to 9 wins (95% of results).

    I think 99% of scenarios (w/in 2 SD), let's call it 1 to 9 wins with a tie.

I think the Bills have a better record than the Jets this season.

I was listening to some sports show on the radio this weekend, don't know which but the host was a 9ers fan... Jets fan calls in and says something to the effect of "hey we might have a jets/9ers superbowl this year!" totally serious. I almost had to pull over.
