I posted about it at the time, but letting a GM build your team through free agency and the draft and then firing him makes no sense. Further, if people are questioning Maccagnan's decision to sign Bell, shouldn't that put a question mark on his other personnel decisions? He drafted Darron Lee in the first round in 2016 and Lee was just shipped out for a 6th round pick. How can anyone look at those moves and then say "Darnold is a franchise QB. He's going to take off in his second year and be great"? It's almost like the Jets want to fail.
