For those who just CAN'T get enough of that succulent Jets schadenfreude, have another plateful! "The Jets lost the NFL off-season"...

The Jets Lost the NFL Offseason and Should Lose a Lot During the 2017 Season, Too

Just End The Season already!
Essentially, the article states that the Jets don't appear to have a genuine plan for improvement. I agree. It's not like they're "rebuilding" or simply tanking a season from which they'll rebound and be competitive in 2018. They truly promise to suck for the foreseeable future. I'm worried that after three or four years of single-digit wins and dwindling attendance Goofy Woody will sell the team.

At least three, not considering Edelman.

I know I would not trade Brissett for McCown, Petty, or Hackenburg.

I count six:

* GOAT
* Garoppolo
* Brissett
* Edelman
* Amendola
* Hogan (he didn't complete the pass, but it drew a DPI)

Woody doesn't care enough about winning to sell the team if it doesn't. Its all about just being the owner. If the team actually won on a sustained basis, he wouldn't know what to do. It certainly doesn't motivate him, otherwise he'd have parted with it years ago. And the value of the team just goes up with the general NFL rising tide.

Tune, this is the first time I've seen you overestimate anyone related to the Jests. You OK?

Well, they've always been able to fake out their moronic fan base with the occasional splashy free-agent signing and .500 finish every three years or so. Now, they seem completely incapable of either. As much as they've always sucked, we haven't seen what happens with something like five years straight of double-digit losses. With their current collection of clowns that looks possible. But you're right, we should have faith in Woody.

Woody's off in London for the next four years, no? Why would he care? Let's just hope he doesn't offload it to someone who knows what they're doing while he's gone.

Oh, I think the odds are good he screws that up and is recalled. With Brexit drama unfolding, he's likely to say something that offends 51% of the population and politicians and is exposed for the clueless duffer that he is.

This team really cannot do anything right...lol.

'Sloppy' and out of shape Mo Wilkerson shocks scouts at Temple

Wilkerson, who starred at Temple before the Jets took him in the first round in 2011, looked like he had been plucked from the nearest buffet, according to people in attendance.

One scout texted me a picture of a Goodyear blimp with an accompanying: “Sloppy.”

“He looked like a pedestrian with a huge gut,” another scout said. “I was shocked.”

Wilkerson’s lack of discipline and commitment came into focus during a forgettable season that included poor production, a benching and a world of embarrassment after he cashed in with a new blockbuster five-year, $86 million contract that included $36.75 million guaranteed at signing.

I'm sorry to say that "clueless duffer" will help him fit right into British public life these days. In fact, I'd be sorry if the predictable humiliating ridicule of the British press was targeted at someone less deserving of it. Let's just get our popcorn and watch ...

So this was the guy Rats fans thought could be traded for a 1st round pick after he signed a big contract with them.

Delusional rodents.

Just something to think about regarding Revis. Maybe his poor performance and physical condition was caused, to some degree, just by being part of that toxic franchise.

I am not necessarily advocating signing Revis, just thinking that he might have something left if he is no longer under the soul-draining affects of being with that toxic dumpster fire of a franchise.

Is it possible the Patriots have four better quarterbacks than the Jets?

Tom Brady
Jimmy Garopollo
Jacoby Brissett
Julian Edelman

Julian had a rough season, though. His career completion percentage dropped by 50%!
