I looked at their messageboard and they have no answers to their predicament.

I hope that doesn't mean the Omissioner will be looking to invent another violation by the Pats.

Not that I have any sympathy for them, but Jets really are in a difficult situation. They're 1-4 now, which means they can probably only afford to lose 2 more games all season to have a shot at the playoffs.

On top of having little margin for error, they just aren't very good. It's not like their games are shootouts and they need the defense to step up. And they aren't playing low scoring struggles where the offense needs to improve to help their prospects in upcoming games. They spent money in free agency on the offense and it's not consistent. They signed free agents and used a lot of draft capital* on defense and they're giving up 27 points a game so far.

*The Jets have used their top pick on a defensive player for the last 6 drafts. Since 2011, they have used 2 of their 3 top picks on defense. Some, like Coples and Milliner have been misses, but Wilkerson is a star and Williams shows promise. You would think that with the existing veteran talent, plus the high drafts picks, plus the free agents, plus late round guys/UDFA who find a role, plus a defensive minded head coach would result in a great defense. It's almost an upset that it's not, but the Jets have shown an ability to defy the odds when it comes to underperforming.

My entire life, I have been watching this pile of garbage fail every single season, with a few years where the team obviously overachieved and made it further than they should have.

Our claim to fame is one conference championship appearance every decade (minus the 70s). '82, '98, '09, '10. That's it. That's how they keep us coming back.

Never any continuity, intelligence or reason to respect the way this team is run.

But morons keep feeding this idiot billion dollar organization with the happybucks they need to keep the status quo.

I can't do it anymore, I'm tired. And the overall NFL product is basically garbage at this point, which makes it easier.

Upside is..Next week Its Monday Nite Football and we'll be expected to lose badly. The other upside is that I'll have a weekend fishing trip already in the books so I'm not giving up anything to watch this band of vagabonds.

Bowles is not an intelligent hc. Too stupid too be hc. Isnt he supposed to be a secondary guy? Our O doesnt suck but the secondary is crap.

I remember how happy Jets fans were last year after they got back Revis and Cromartie plus Buster Skrine. Talks about having the best secondary in the NFL. Fast forward to this year, Revis is struggling and ailing and Cromartie is gone while their secondary is getting lit up every weekend.
