Darrelle Revis has turned into a liability one year after the Jets gave him a $39 million contract

Through the first four games of the season, Revis has been a shell of himself, nothing like the Revis Island shutdown corner of years past.

According to the NY Daily News, opposing quarterbacks are completing a whopping 81% of passes targeting Revis, good for 135 passing yards.

He's yet to notch a single deflection, much less an interception, and he's looked at least one step slower than the top receivers he's tasked with guarding.

Second time an injury kept him from playing at Pittsburg, hmmm...

Week 5 played out almost completely to the Patriots benefit

The Dolphins and Jets lost to the Titans and Steelers, respectively, and dropped to 1-4. According to FiveThirtyEight data, teams that are 1-4 reach the playoffs just 5% of the time. While the two teams aren’t done for the year, they’re pretty darn close.

Or, put another way, the odds against the Jets even making the playoffs are 19 to 1 against.

Same old freaking Jets!!!

I like the majority of this team. However I've been saying since January (and probably since Oct '15) that Fitz should be on the bench and/or not re-signed. This is no surprise to me. No team will ever make the playoffs with Fitz as their QB.

It is what it is. Sucks, but you still support the team and... well, be a fan.

I'm not sure many of the youngin's here understand that though. There will probably be a mass exodus here once this current Pat dynasty (damn it hurt to write that) ends.

Bowles? Sh!t, if he's the one responsible for starting Fitz, hopefully he's fired soon. I have no clue if Woody or Macc are forcing him to play Fitz though.

The 4th quarter punt with 7min left, down 2 scores at midfield was absolutely ******ed though.

Why? They're an odd mixture of over paid vets (yes, Fitzy, plus Revis, Decker, Marshall, etc) and a few decent DL/ILB types and then a large pile of mediocre players that have a hard time making most NFL rosters.

It is what it is. Sucks, but you still support the team and... well, be a fan.

So, you have no limit on the suckage you're going to put up with? I guess not, since your team is heading towards 50 years of futility. However, in my book, there's a difference between being a fan and being an idiot.
