Jets Suck -- 2016 Edition (Official): Futility Confirmed

The Jets have a better team this year.

Yeah, his team looked bad, but his teams have also looked great at times. I won't post a video, but I seem to remember one of his teams playing a game a while back in January up North and doing pretty well.

Let me guess what you're thinking of. Is that when the J*sters earned their Back-to-Back AFC Championship Losers banner?

My stomach hurts. Hilarious.

Wow! It was a worse performance than I thought.

He had 6 interceptons and could have had twice that many, including one off the back of his OL's helmet that popped up in the air.

A truly rodental performance, Fitzmagic knows what it means to "play like a Jet."

I watched the game. A FitzPick and then two fumbles and the Jets have just gift-wrapped 17 points for the Chiefs in the first half. Then Bowels didn't call any time outs even though KC was getting the ball to start the second half, a pure no mas move. I'm sure the Jets fans were thinking the same thing I was: SOFJ! Just End The Suffering! At least there's one thing us and the Jets fans can agree on: The Jets Suck!

Here it is guys....Joe and Evan! Enjoy!

A classic rant. Five decades of suffering!

Ha, well we can't have you thinking I'm sane now.

I know Rex is different, and his bluster just makes it easier to attack him when he fails. I just love his heart and defensive coaching ability. Give him a good GM and offensive coordinator and he can play/coach with the best. Sometimes greatly exceeding expectations. While yes, also sometimes failing.

We all wanted him to stay too, but we got our second favorite result, he's coaching the Bills!

Lets hope after he gets fired that Miami takes him on next!

Wow, I stand corrected. Howe was talking about this very thing earlier and my #s are wrong.

He's gotten much worse. For the first couple of years he was a guy with a sharp defensive mind, who needed coaching help offensively and needed to mature.

Well, his bag of tricks defensively has been exposed and because he's a fundamentally lazy guy, he hasn't continued to innovate. I honestly don't know much about his OC in Buffalo, but there doesn't seem to be much going on there. And he hasn't matured at all.

Since the Jets upset of the Pats a few years back that our Jets' friend references (a rare clunker from Belichick and Brady, to be honest--flooding the field with defensive backs shouldn't have been so baffling), the Pats have beaten him what, 10-11 times in a row?

The guy's done. He's destined for TV after this year, where I think he'll probably be pretty good. I don't watch any of the TV stuff, but the buffoonish shtick seems to go far there.

That was a tea-party thing early in Pats history. They were Patriots dressed as Redskins.

Okay is that team name offensive now?

He's gotten much worse. For the first couple of years he was a guy with a ridiculously talented defense that was built by the previous coach, then he proceeded to make it worse each season.

FTFY.

Great joke.

I still wonder if that game was a rare moment when the Pats took an opponent lightly. A few weeks before that game the Pats blew out the jets by 40+ points. The jets looked like they shouldn't have been in the same league as the Patriots.

Maybe the playoff game would've been a lot different if the jets had shown just a little fight in the regular season game

The Browns are ranked 2nd all time in titles won per season's played, with 8 titles in 67 years. Here is the top ten;

1 Green Bay Packers 13-95
2 Cleveland Browns 8-67
3 Baltimore Colts/Ravens 5-52
4 Chicago Bears 9-96
5 Dallas Cowboys 5-56
6 New York Giants 7-91
7 Pittsburgh Steelers 6-83
8 Boston/N.E. Patriots 4-56
9 San Fran. 49ers 5-70
10 Wash. Redskins 5-84

Will be tied with Dallas after this season.

Yep, I think that's fair. If the Jets had played the Pats close, or actually one that previous game, I think the Pats would have rolled.

Instead there was a sense of, come on, we can do whatever we want with these guys. Rare misstep.
