Imagine you are a parent with children and they are watching a game.
"Who are the Redskins?"
"Junior - we can't use that word..."
"Why?"
"Uh, long time ago, they came up with a bad name for Indians in our country..."
Then he asks: "Who are they playing?"
"The Jets"
They talked about jets in my Science class this week, and they suck!"
"Young man - don't use that kind of language"
"Heh, heh, heh"
"Heh, heh, heh"
It's just a matter of time before the FCC rules will consider "Jets" an offensive name too.
