Well the Jets will have to stink up the joint to lose this game, I know they struggle in Buffalo but the Bills scored 7 points against Baltimore, the Jets defense is better and they can't lose this game at all. They had a good shot at winning playoff contender Bengals.

Vegas is setting this game even, I thought Jets would be favored 3 points.

Well since this is turning into a Jets-Bills thread here is the take from Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller:

Week 2: NY Jets at Buffalo

Video at link.

The Jets have next to nothing behind their DL........Taylor will get outside and give them fits

Thieving Bills who stole our sweet jerseys will win tonight.

I'd never wish my worst enemy to go 0-16. That's just cruel. I hope they at least win 6-7 games......

So that they'll stay in mediocrity for a long long time.

I agree. People are forgetting with extremely horrible records get a chance at drafting a difference maker , or even a franchise QB.

If at the end of the season the Rats are in the 7-9 to 9-7 range while missing the playoffs, I consider that mission accomplished.

The Jets won't go 0-7. I think they are not going to do nearly as well this year as last year though. I think they could be 8-8 or worse. I think Fitzmagic doesn't work two years in a row. Brandon Marshall is at an age where a WR can hit the age wall really fast and hard. The Jets defense is an awesome front four and a horrible back seven.

I am really hoping more that Revis looks like he did this past weekend all year. I want the idiot, smug sperm lottery winner, Woody Johnson, to cry when he has to sign Revis' paycheck for the next two years especially if he is still paying him next year if they cut him.

The Rats can stink up the joint just by showing up.

Goodie wont let that happen.

Yes as another poster has mentioned this is a revenge game for the Jests so they will win. The rest of that schedule however is brutal.

I expect the Jets to win. I have them in a confidence pickem for 8 points, which will salvage some happiness if they do pull it out. They'll probably lose the rest of those games though. Hey, I'll take 1-6 from them.

That's an insult to mediocre things everywhere.

Rex could actually be coaching for his job tonight.

Look at their schedule before the bye

Already 0-1, if they are 0-2 tonight then they are '

Home to Arizona, very little chance of winning that
At NE, very little chance of winning that
At LA, one they could win, but a bad team on the road across country isn't a good bet
SF at home, they better win that one
At Miami. Could be winnable but 2 reasonably equal teams would favor the home team
Home to NE, another loss making Rex 0-4 vs BB as a Bill and 1-11 in his last 12 vs BB
At Seattle

This looks like 2-7, and after the bye they go to Cincy.
Given Rex's history, a 2-7 team will be full of dissension, finger pointing, false bravado, and another year of playing for pride as losers.

This could be fun to watch.

Pats 16-0
Bills 2-14
Dolphins 2-14
Jets 2-14

it could happen

I love to watch this kind of game (Jets vs. Bills) because there is none of that usual play to play stress. You can just sit back and take the game in from a kind of neutral position. One might lean one way or the other, but there is no way to lose.

And most of all it means NO INSOMNIA afterwards. I hate it that we play so many night games because I know how this will disrupt my sleep and thus mess up the following day. These games just wind me up to a degree where sleep is impossible--even with sleeping pills.

Agree! At 0-7 the Zeps fans would have to accept the season is over and be out of their misery early. I don't want a mercy killing, I want them to be mathematically alive at least until week 15 (like 6-8) and then crushed by the Pats and lose 3-0 to the Bills.

I dislike both teams with a passion, but the Jets are #1 on my suck list. I'll be reluctantly pulling for the Bills tonight.
I have trouble feeling near the same hatred for the Bills, not even close. They are a sad, pitiful franchise who have been the Pats' *****es for well over a decade. Occasionally they need to be smacked down as an ego check (see Week 2 last season), but typically I am fairly indifferent towards them.

The Jets...just scum. I wish nothing but the absolute worst for that franchise and their fanbase.

My attitude toward the Bills is admittedly colored by ongoing contact with members of a group (hilariously) known as The Bills Mafia. I'm guessing that 5 minutes of intercourse (not the fun kind) with them would have you understanding exactly what I mean.

Really would not be surprised if the Jets beat the Seahawks. They are one of the most overrated teams in the league

3 points for home field. If it was set as a pickem then the Jets would be favored by 3 at a neutral site

Edit: looks like the line opened buffalo giving 3, so on a neutral field it would have opened as a pickem, money is coming in on the Jets obviously
