I know its been 2 years but I'm saying it...Bust.

Guy is a scrub. Showed flashes last year, showed us the truth this year. There was no unreal talent infront of him this year, any half decent front 7 player would be a contributor to this defense. Cunningham was not. Pretty pathetic when you can't get on the field and when you do you're as effective as you were off of it. Can anyone name one play Cunningham has made this year?

This is old news.

Eric Moore was signed a couple of days ago to replace Cunningham who was placed on IR.

This was the same day that Moore was cut, and replace by Williams from the Practice Squad.

Cunningham is hovering in bust territory, but I am giving every young player a free pass this year. The lockout year has probably hurt a lot of young players around the league. Next season will be make or break for him.

Going to be a big off-season for guys like Cunningham, Dowling and Vereen, maybe Tiquan and Ridley. I'm betting there will be a lot of optimism for these guys here when camps opens, especially Vereen, Ridley and Dowling. (I would have put Price in this category a few weeks ago, but, I guess not).

You guys are being pretty nasty, he looked like a keeper last year. How does anyone know he hasn't been hurt since TC and thats why he hasn't performed like he did last season.

No offseason + new defense + the promise that he showed last year (to be a productive player, not a star) = I'll still hold out a small amount of hope for the guy. The young guys who were drafted as conversion projects for a 3-4 base D were pretty much put in a position to fail this year. And Cunningham did fail.

If a) the Pats stay in a 4-3 base and/or b) Cunningham can't get on the field next year, then I'll write him off as a bust.

Based on how he played last year...very well you would think he would improve upon that. Guys who have promising careers dont take a step or ten steps back in year two. Put me down for Cunningham is a Bust!. Guys we have seen this too many times...Young Defensive players who go on IR on BB Teams days are numbered in this leage.

Wasn't he a 43 DE in college? The change of defense should have helped him, not hurt him.
