Why do you think he's underrated? He visited every talk show in the world after the SuperBowl with many saying he should have been MVP. He got a monster contract extension in the offseason. I'd say he's performing well as expected. He's rated highly by everyone.

I can't remember the last time he made a real mistake...he just gets it done whenever called upon.

And lest you say he's not much of a runner, and should be considered a quasi-receiver, note that 45 players are listed ahead of him at WR: NFL Rankings

Until the Super Bowl, the average NFL fan had no idea who he was, and even now, I never hear him come up in discussions of the top players at his position. He's an elite third down back, so I think it's safe to say that he's still underrated. Currently he's on pace for nearly 100 catches, yet I highly doubt he'll receive any pro bowl buzz. He's tough, consistent, reliable, and productive, but not flashy, and somehow that seems to blind the general public to his talent.
