Didn’t Goodell used to do a thing where anytime someone appealed a decision, it was automatically cut in half or something. The guy is a total schmuck.

At one time they pretty much had the cut in half baked into the length of the suspension

Not sure that’ll fly over well across the league. Carter missed an entire game for what he did and Chase never was even so much as penalized.

Would be a terrible look to reduce the suspension. Especially for a star player.

The appeals board is made up of three former players ( Derrick Brooks, Jordy Nelson, and Ramon Foster). It isn’t the league who hears it.

Obviously, him lying would probably hurt him.

His suspension has been reduced to.. uh… the first half plus however long it takes for the halftime bathroom line to clear out completely
