The Bengals should have traded Hendrickson when they had a chance in the offseason. He has missed a large chunk of the season anyway. Their season is lost. He is likely to leave after the season. And even if they franchise and trade him, he will get a lot less in trade than he would have gotten last offseason.

Not sure that’ll fly over well across the league. Carter missed an entire game for what he did and Chase never was even so much as penalized.

Would be a terrible look to reduce the suspension. Especially for a star player.
