Ja'Marr Chase Suspended 1 Game; APPEAL DENIED

Threat title should be updated.

Not even close Bozo

I really thought the League would have figured a way to wiggle around a suspension. There is still a chance Chase appeals and they reduce it to a fine.
That would set a bad precedent going forward.

Spitting in anyone's face, no matter the sport, is unacceptable and should be a suspension.

Here are some options:

Chase spat with Ramsey invites league discipline

Expectorate-gate might sideline Chase

Chase disputin' sputum incident

Me too! Before either one of you, so I win!

But I was in my car at the time. So being sole witness to my own sage foresight, my impeccable integrity as an august member of this board will have to suffice re. confirmation.
Nuh Uh, I started the thread. So there.

Its not happening. Carter already served a game suspension for the same infraction. Reducing it to a fine would result in a law suit. That is just not happening.

Nah. NFLPA shares responsibility for appointing hearing officers. Besides they’ve got bigger fish to fry. On top of all that they’d be suing to allow disrespect of their members without consequences. Remember that this was member on member violence as far as NFLPA is concerned.

My question is if he will be allowed to play pending an appeal hearing. That is, assuming it can't be formally arranged yet this week. You have to figure he will appeal even with damning video evidence, considering there's more than $500k at stake.

I think they do the appeals pretty quickly these days right

Dude this is a Cincinnati/Chase thread. Stop hijacking it and making it about Defaltegate and Spygate. Geez people. Stop ruining the forum.
Hey Dude I was replying to comments of others who brought it up. Geez.

So in addition to the head slap and expectoration there were threats exchanged too? The plot thickens

It’s already decided, but they still need to hold a hearing before announcing it, for sake of optics.
I would love to know what he says when the league shows him the video and they ask him so what was that?
