Game Day Thread Jags @ Steelers Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Jacksonville has a ton of talent it’s just not the kind that has the ball in its hands, and arguably is more important talent.

Agreed - which is why I put in "playmakers." Their secondary is elite, and Calai Campbell is my DPOY.

People knocked the jags schedule. You don’t force that many turnovers and score that many TDs without being pretty good.

I disagree. They are good, not great. They didnt face a single good offense except the Rams. The 49ers also showed that you can carve them up if you attack them well.

The Jags historically plays well in Pittsburgh and not so well @ Gillette! It would be a chest match with Brady and McDaniels vs that stout defense! I do think as the game go on Brady and Josh would figure them out!

Ben has a noodle arm.

I'm not sweating the jags if they end up coming here. It will be cold (they're a warm weather team) and they've never played in a game as big as the afccg. Plus they are really up for the sqweelers after they disrespected them so much over the last week.

I don't know if Bell's running style helps him against this team. It's still early, but I'm interested to see his production today.

who was Ben throwing to that time ?

Me to for 09 and 96

Oh and 4th and 2.

I watched some easy wins against CLE and the 49ers as well as the opening night game against the Raiders in 2005, I think and the 07 AFCCG, but almost all of the wins I've been to have been meh, but some reason I get to go to a lot of the awful games.

I was banned from the Steelers forum for writing that I preferred to play the Steelers over the Jags!!!! Lmao. What a tender, salty little group. This game is playing out in a way that i am enjoying so much. I don’t know that Jax can keep it up, but the fact that the Steelers disrespected Jax all week and are now getting it taken to them is just too good.

didn't get it...will they go for it ?

Updates please
Harrison is so still part of their psyche
James Harrison isn't better than Dupree though.

Thanks, Bug-Eyed ****!!!

Harrison would not be making a damn bit of difference in this game. It would be 14 nothing with Harrison on the field.

OL = soft
DL = soft
This team is getting it's ass kicked at the LOS

Harrison can still set the edge and rush the passer.

You watching Dupree?

Wanna tell me where he was on Fournette's second TD?

Great catch by Rodgers but man that was a freaking hospital ball by Ben.

Terrible run by bell on 3rd down. If he attacked the edge like he is supposed to do on a sweep it’s an easy first down.
This infatuation with stopping and standing still with the ball is really starting to hamper him.

I would be huge if they hold PIT to a FG and then go down and get a TD.
