My father was a state cop...he'd MAKE me stay up and watch this show every week...

Playing against his tough guy image, Broderick Crawford as a young man was enrolled at Harvard. But he dropped out after three weeks.

Seems like a pattern the run in with BB now this one have to really wonder.
Good thing is Jack can be available for TC.. I believe this situation gets pushed towards after the season.. he's got a dam good lawyer.. all I care about is his availability on the field.. he's a good player and if we can have him on the outside, with gonzo.. jon inside that's a nice group...

Jackie Gleason show was big too. My trumpet teacher played in Gleason's orchestra for a time.

Yep that was another must-see variety show that we watched with our parents... We especially enjoyed the June Taylor Dancers, and those over-head shots of their kaleidoscopic movements on the dance floor, and sometimes in the water too...

Red Skelton had a pretty popular variety show too.

My folks LOVED Red Skelton! We watched that every Tuesday night, though I also remember being sent to bed sometimes half-way through it on school nights... 9pm was Lights Out! back then, if we were good...

My neighbor when I was a kid, he wasn't the brightest bulb loved that show and on Wednesday mornings at the bus stop would ask me if I watched the Red Skeleton show.

Word is that PFinV was the inspiration for Skelton's Freddie the Freeloader.(or maybe that was Clem Kadiddlehopper?)

He seems to be a complete POS, but I was bummed out when he was released. Still kinda am.

I was happy when AB was released. He’s the consummate narcissist, everything was always going to be about him, and when it wasn’t he would lose his **** and create a scene. He’s the last guy you want around your team.

Tom Brady felt otherwise the next year in Tampa.

Believe it or not, I’m not Tom Brady. And AB proved exactly what I’m saying in Tampa Bay.

If Brady had AB and Gronk in 2019 with that defense we would most likely have won another SB.

During one of his shows there was a sketch in which he & others played prospectors out west... An avalanche was collapsing their cabin and Red shouted: It's getting so bad in here, I can't even read the cue cards!

I howled, HOWLED at that line... Strange, what one finds amusing enough as a kid to remember after over 50 years...

Best part of Jackie Gleason Show for me was when he did the Joe the Bartender skit with Frankie Fontaine as Crazy Guggenheim. That was some funny ****.
Fontaine,btw,was from Cambridge,Ma.
