Is this guy any good?
I heard the Jets want him.
Thoughts.
He picked off a pass in the EZ in the 2003 season finale to preserve a 31-0 shutout against the Bills. He's strictly a ST guy, the only reason he was playing defense was because it was 31-0.Does anyone have any memories of him making a play on D?

Veteran linebacker and special teams captain Larry Izzo has signed on to play with the New York Jets.
”I’d like to thank Mr Kraft, Coach Belichick, and the entire Patriots organization — coaches, staff and fans — for being so supportive during my 8 yrs in New England,” Izzo wrote in an email. ”It was an incredible honor to play with so many talented players who have become lifelong friends.
”Having spent my entire career in the AFC East, I’m very familiar with the Jets’ incredibly loyal, knowledgable and passionate fans, who are mostly insane or criminals, and this is an amazing chance to work hard and make them proud.”

The gap is,,,,,,about the same
The only big defensive play I ever remember Izzo making was picking off Travis Brown of the Bills in the endzone to preserve the 31-0 shutout in the last game of the 2003 season. He's basically just a really good special teamer that hardly sees the field on D.

Hey I resent that, I am not a criminal!
Bet when he's mentioned in future Bonds stories he will be refereed to as "former-Patriot" as opposed to "current Jet"
