This is clearly revisionist history, look at Brady's numbers in 2019 they were some of the worst in his career. That 12-4 record was 90% a defense that people had to look at stats from the 40's to find comparable PPG numbers. Now how much of that was poor supporting cast around Brady, how much was he injured? Those were fair questions that got answered in Tampa but at the time without knowledge of what the next two years would bring Brady clearly looked like he was in decline. Why would he? Brady clearly wasn't in decline. He was fresh off a SB win in 2018 and a 12-4 record in 2019 that would have been 13-3 with the top seed if not for the blown call vs KC. Brady then went on to win another SB and come within a dumb coaching decision the next season of going to another.
Aaron Rodgers is way overrated and one weird dude. A perfect fit for the Jets.
