Exactly. Pats had a 20 year run. That’s a dynasty.Yeah, back in the day, only the Yankees, the Celtics, and the Canadians were considered dynasties.
It's just the media's rush to try to find the next one. The Pats made everyone a lot of money and drove interest like no other team ever has for 20 years. What's even more amazing is we had no true rival team.Never a dynasty. Put some respect on the Patriots/Cowboys/49ers/Steelers/Packers
Mahomes making up plays in the huddle too.Mahomes running around again cost the team.
The HOF post season tally is 3 - 5.Lost 2 AFCCGs at home. Those hurt a lot. Brady was 6-1 in those. You just can’t lose many of those and expect to be a dynasty

I think after yesterday, folks are appreciating what the Pats did even more and are also continuing to scratch their head at Bill drafting Jimmy 8 years ago to be the successor to Brady and pushing so hard for it that he fractured his relationship with the Goat and got less draft compensation then he should have.

The window isn't closed as long as Mahomes is healthy. You guys are like the neighborhood drunk on his bar stool who overhears three words out of a passing conversation and makes loud, bold argumentative statements about something that wasn't said.
The question is about potential dynasty - is the window on the potential closed?
I'd say probably because of the cap situation, the League getting better at defensing Mahomes, and the emergence of this large crop of young, excellent QB's in the AFC.
It is your last graph that has got to have the KC FO and Reid trembling. They gave the guy a half a billion 2 seasons ago and he has regressed to where he became their biggest liability in the playoff loss and for many of their games this season. I fully expect Veach to replace Hill and Kelce with quality skill guys but none of that matters if Mahomes is going to play hero ball and cost his team games. The Chiefs walk a fine line between being a high flying legendary offense and a below average mediocre not efficient offense.
Once one of Hill/Mahomes/Kelce etheir leaves or their play slips. The Chiefs won't be as sexy of a name.
I've said it to my friends who are Mahomes fans - once Kelce is gone - Mahomes loses that security blanket and once Tyreek demands top of league money (and they pay him or let him walk) that offense is going to be in alot of trouble. Their window current day was directly tied to that trio being the fastest, youngest, most explosive unit in the league. They no longer are.
Mahomes also has come crashing back down to earth..that's the biggest problem for the chiefs ...the expectations and the hype after the 50 TD SB season were astronomical. Some were already proclaiming him as the goat. Some folks still are lost in the hype from all that noise ... They refuse to believe or simply cannot compute that Mahomes isn't as good as everyone thought. Not the next goat. Maybe not even better than Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert ...
