Is this the end of a potential Chiefs dynasty?

It’s not over because they still have a franchise qb but I didnt see a dynasty coming out of the afc for awhile anyway. Too many potential great qbs up and coming. You got Allen, Jackson, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert for starters. Jury is still out ion Jones and Lawrence. It’s gonna be a bllodbath the next 10 years.

Well, I'll give them that they've been to 4 straight AFCC games, but they're only 2-2 in those games and 1-1 in SB's, including an absolute blowout loss which is no-no for a "dynasty". Without Hill they're an average team, he's by far their best player. I could see them maybe winning 1 more but no more than that.
Lost 2 AFCCGs at home. Those hurt a lot. Brady was 6-1 in those. You just can’t lose many of those and expect to be a dynasty

The new playoff format with only the 1 seed getting byes will also make it harder for any future dynasties to form

I think that was my favorite loss of the season. It couldn't have played out any better, Bills lose in an epic defensive breakdown and the Chiefs go out in a blaze of meh offensive play. I couldn't have scripted the last two games any better myself

There is pressure on Mahomes to win one more while Kelce and Hill are somewhat young...if he wants to surpass Trent Dilfer, Nick Foles, Joe Flacco, oh and Aaron Rodgers.

How is one super bowl win in their existence a dynasty?

yeah right...the Queefs are a DIE NASTY...Mahomey don't play dat!

What dynasty? An awful lot of teams have won 1 in a row.

Dynasty? Even Ricky Proel realized you need to win 2 SBs to be at least considered a dynasty.

Agreed. 1 super bowl does not make a dynasty

You guys are like the neighborhood drunk on his bar stool who overhears three words out of a passing conversation and makes loud, bold argumentative statements about something that wasn't said.

The question is about potential dynasty - is the window on the potential closed?

I'd say probably because of the cap situation, the League getting better at defensing Mahomes, and the emergence of this large crop of young, excellent QB's in the AFC.

Chiefs are a great team, no doubt. With that said, the possibility of winning three superbowls in four years is now over and they will now need to win a superbowl and reset in order to do what few teams can do. Even if you don't consider 3 in 4 years a dynasty, they probably won't win 3 in 5 years and they have obviously won less than their talent should have won. Bill Belichick would have won 2 rings with that unit in their 4 year span. Maybe 3.

Is this the nail in the coffin of a chiefs dynasty?
They won 1 SB. What are you talking about 3 out of 4?
