Personally I don’t care about Vrabel having an affair or all of the Diggs/Cardi B/private chef love triangle BS. The only thing that matters to me is if Diggs assaulted the chef and he was found innocent of that in a court of law.

The sex lives of the players and coaches are of interest to some people, but they are irrelevant to the game of football. Even if Vrabel is Russini’s baby daddy as some suspect, it is a salacious story but really something I don’t give a crap about.

As a fanbase, we rooted for players after they were accused of beating spouses (Corey Dillon for example). I don’t know how an affair moves the needle.

And this could affect the team in a positive way. This could have a rally around the coach effect with the players. The players see their coach that they love being smeared and they fight harder for him. We saw this happen with Spygate and Deflategate. We see this effect in politics too. It is a real phenomenon.

And players have played side by side with players who tortured and killed dogs, beat and tortured women, do drugs, sleep with prostitutes, etc. and performed. Stop with this players will be too moral to follow Vrabel. The NFL is filled with a lot of bad people. An affair is a nothing thing.

BTW, Drake Maye, who is deeply Christian, has already come out in support of Vrabel.



Also, if Urban Meyer was a really good coach, he would still be coaching the Jags today. He was fired because he had a scandal AND HE WAS A DISASTER OF A HEAD COACH. And Canales is still the Panthers’ head coach even after his scandal and the scandal has gone away.

This owner in particular isn't firing Vrabel for that and it's not hard to guess why. He fired Belichick because he sucked at his job at the end of his time here. Nah! How does that change anything? An affair is an affair. Even if either kid was his, he may not have known they were his. But even so, that is an issue between Vrabel and his family and Russini and her's.

We have players who have four or five or ten baby mothers. Some have multiple women pregnant at the same time.

I am sorry. This incident may have me looking differently at Vrabel as a person, but that doesn't change that he is still one of my all time favorite players and a hellava head coach.

But if we are going to play moral police in the NFL, they would have to remove probably 20-30% of the players from the Hall of Fame.

Not bad points on your part. But it does look bad on Vrabel though. She's very late in her pregnancy and he's on a boat with her? No guy wants to even imagine having an affair with a woman who is in late pregnancy with another man's baby. This fact is either gross to most of us or makes us think both of them know this is his kid. We don't know, but it makes you think its more likely his kid. If it's not his kid, this is just gross and highly immoral and disgusting to many people.

It is the dead part of the NFL calendar. There is not a lot of NFL news right now. It is only a matter of time before the next scandal or controversy that will take people's attention.

There are only so many stories of boat rental receipts they can put out there before the public gets bored. Even this story isn't getting a lot of attention except by Patriots haters on social media.
