My favorite excuse is that "they just didn't execute".If someone has to twist themselves into knots to prove the roster is actually good and guys are constantly open...it's not and they are not.
No one actually believes this is a good roster except for the Bill homers.
Still keep hearing about Thornton being open in the all-22! And he played 0 snaps yesterday.
If 10 makes that easy throw do they win? Of course they do. That absolutely means they played well enough to win if he didn’t choke.First, 52 other players did not play well enough to win. If you think that, you are insane. The offensive line was awful in the first half. Lowe was benched because he couldn't handle his blocking assignment. Mac was sacked five times in the first half. The Patriots scored six points. The kicker missed a chip shot FG. Zappe threw an INT with enough time to still win the game. JuJu had several presnap penalties. Henry fumbled the ball (luckily it was recovered by Andrews).
Wrong. Zeke isn’t just running wherever he wants. 10 knows the route. QBs have to throw the ball before the break. This is not to mention that he walked into a player laying in the ground to let him sack him.
Zeke is 100% open. Maybe this is why you are confused. A qb doesn’t wait until after the cut and then decide.
Zeke is open because we know he is running an out and the defender is playing inside leverage and giving a cushion.
If you roll forward the TE on the right looks in your world, open but he really isn’t because the defender wasn’t giving cushion and is ready to break it up.
A COMPETANT QB READS THAT.
And what about juju? Wide open for a 20 yard gain.

You seem to think that requires playing perfectly.
As to your other points I’m not sure which game you watched. Lowe wasn’t benched, he came in for a few plays when mcd was injured. They scored 6 points because if the QB. You know him, the guy who couldn’t complete 2 easy TD passes.
Juju getting called for the ball being snapped before he was set is the fault of……..the Qb who called for the Sami too soon.
Zappe wouldn’t have thrown an int if 10 completed the easiest TD pass in the league all day.
My favorite excuse is that "they just didn't execute".
.500 is what the team would be if 10 didn’t choke in 3 games. 3 drives without choking.I never once defended that at all. But our ceiling when playing our best being a .500 team is not good.
Not sure why it's such a hard concept. But Mac can be bad and the receivers/roster/ol can also be garbage
If proves the other 52 players played well enough to win that game if 10 executed a routine play.Beating the colts with minshew 13-10 if Mac makes a routine TD pass doesn't prove this roster is good enough.
.500 is what the team would be if 10 didn’t choke in 3 games. 3 drives without choking.
That is hardly a ceiling and hardly requires playing our best.
It’s what we would be with a qb who didn’t **** himself when the game was in the line. That’s the floor of where they would be with a competant, average QB and everything else that has happened, including all of the injuries.
Bad QB play means that much.
Yes he cold suck and everyone could suck but the fact that the team would be 5-5 with a bad qb who just doesn’t **** himself tells me that’s not the case.
Posters on here will claim TT was good yesterday. If someone has to twist themselves into knots to prove the roster is actually good and guys are constantly open...it's not and they are not.

Put 10 on those trans and everyone is complaining no one gets open. Not sure how fans can watch other NFL teams like Miami, Philly, San Francisco, Bengals etc....
And look at our receiving core and try and argue it's good
If proves the other 52 players played well enough to win that game if 10 executed a routine play.
I’m not sure where “the roster is good enough” comes from.
You can’t even tell that with an incompetent QB.
Put 10 on those trans and everyone is complaining no one gets open.
Who argued the receivers are as good as those teams?
Huh? How am I calling it “an accomplishment”And .500 is good? I don't get it.
Even the most ardent bb supporters in the media thought this team was a 6-7 win team given the poor roster and schedule.
No one expected it to be 2-8 bad. But that doesn't mean being a .500 team is some great accomplishment like you want to make it seem.
I froze the shot at the point where Jones had to get rid of the ball. We agree that Zeke was open when he made the cut, but he made the cut too late. Here is the screen shot from when Zeke makes his cut. Explain to me how Mac was going to make that throw while being leg whipped by the defender.
Thanks. I had a book written on the first screen shot, only for you to post the 2nd one and have me say nevermind. But to your point, he really couldn't throw it to Zeke unless he had 100% confidence in where he'd be when he released the ball. We know this guy doesn't have that level of confidence. I think both you and Ring have valid points.Mac was sacked.
How does a QB playing scared with horrible mechanics complete 65.4% of his passes if no one is open?I can tell that Douglas is the only competent receiver we have, our OL can't block. Our special teams is a joke and that our defense can't stop any half way decent team.
And that's before getting to Mac Jones playing scared with horrid mechanics.
Beating the colts with better QB play isn't a flex.
If he can’t throw to Zeke then we can’t have an nfl passing offense.Thanks. I had a book written on the first screen shot, only for you to post the 2nd one and have me say nevermind. The second shot shows that here's no way he could step into it to fire the ball into JJSS. I question where or not he could see Henry with the oncoming rusher. I think a guy with a cannon arm makes the JJSS throw, or a super cerebral one zips it to Zeke. One with both skills goes to Henry, knowing he's the best player right now.
Who's running the go route? Boutte?
Where the f##k did I ever argue that? You just argued this in the same post you are asking who is arguing it.
Our receivers would be Deebo and kittle if Mac was good.
This whole "you have to blame either Mac or the roster" is the dumbest thing I've encountered on this board.
Both can be true
Stop. That's the end. Mac is damaged goods and can't do it right now.If he can’t throw to Zeke then we can’t have an nfl passing offense.
