I’m lit right now and very confused why we are comparing Gunner to dion

Dion was an ankle breaking legend. Gunner is a gamer.

I am sure some of you remember my old thread:
The CAT will lead us!!!
Dion Lewis was an amazing player here and was so explosive and broke defenders ankles with unimaginable cuts....I think Gunnar will be a Swiss Army knife and could play a lot of positions.....feel to some degree that they are apples and oranges in comparison....that having been said really glad they decided to keep the kid.

Speaking of Dion, are they ever going to try that fake kneel down play again?

It almost worked.

So I see the kid reminding me of T Brown and Edleman, Like Edleman he is changing position , like Brown he is an afterthought who will do any position to make the team. is size and speed is comparable to Edleman.
I think the kid is coach able, he has a great motor, great effort.
I don't know if he will become a Useful player or not, but there are things that intrigue me.
Who predicted what Troy Brown and Edleman would become when they were rookies?

Best of luck trying to have a rational conversation with someone that has an irrational mind.
@AndyJohnson ? He can be persistent but he is usually fair and fact based - until pushed

As much as I like Gunner, he's looked like a human being on the field. Can't say the same about Dion. The things he did didn't look possible.
Of course. Remember the game against Dallas his first year here?

Pats HOF?

Does the woods sh!t in the bear?

(whispers)

They both have cat-like quickness.

Just holding my breath to see how long he lasts before being cut or injured.........Wishing him all the best !

Is Jarrett Stidham > Tom Brady?!

I think the only question now is if Gunner and Meyers enter the NFL HOF the same year or if there is a year or two between them.

Obviously they will enter 2 years apart due to Gunner retiring early after 13 years to run for political office while Jakobi plays an additional 2 until Brady is ready to retire.

Since they’re all first ballot the gap will prevent all three from entering together.

Actually the player Gunner is *sorta* replacing is Cordarrelle Patterson
(a lot smaller of course)

So nice of Bill to let a high schooler on the team
