So if you believe Amendola is worth his deal Decker probably is worth about $15 million per season.
I didn't come remotely close to suggesting such a thing.
I said that if Amendola's production was about 2/3rds of his production, and will make less than 2/3rds of his salary, then we shouldn't be acting like the world is over because someone was injured and "only" caught 54 balls this year.
He averaged 4.5 catches in his 12 reg season games. Most expected about 6 catches if he only played 12 games, so there's a lot of overreacting going on here for a 3.5m dollar cap hit.
