I would love to see Brady and Manning solo at the coin toss

Wouldn't this be a great moment in NFL history of both QBs came alone for the coin toss and shook hands before the game? Manning may not be as great as Brady, but he sure has given me more highs and lows as a fan than any other player of this era. If this is the end, I will miss this amazing rivalry.

Can you imagine the added pressure that would put on Manning in that situation? He'd be fixated on the Manning-Brady aspect and his record in such games, I'd love it.

Nice thought, but when was the last time they put the coin toss of an NFL game on TV. The only time we get to see a coin toss is for an OT. Nah, but I'm sure we'll get a shot of the two having a pre game hand shake....or not.

Brady looks to Manning and says, "Good Luck." Manning, still as if he was under a sinister trance whimpers, "I fought the Law, and the Law won." Brady reaches in for a hug, the crowd cheers in deafening fashion, Brady whispers to Manning, "Now you meet the Butler, and the Butler will serve."

Now it isn't known for sure, but some say a single tear was seen on Manning's cheek as he walked to the sideline. A tear that would be the precursor to the now famous Brady vs. Manning XVII. But you see son, that is a story for another time.

I'm torn. I will miss it, but then again I won't thanks to Bill Polian, the NFL and the media in general. The year Manning didn't play was the most pleasing year for me. It was refreshing to not hear his name uttered and TB getting the spotlight he deserved. While no championship was won it almost didn't matter. Peyton was an afterthought. It's a shame but I feel without the media slurping him all the time he would never have even be mentioned in the same breath as TB.

I respect what Manning has accomplished as a regular-season quarterback, but won't miss him one tiny bit. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner he and his inane commercials are history, the better.
