Captured with a slow motion camera while they both lift their heads to stare each other down with synchronized perfection. The snow is lightly falling in the background, Brady isn't smiling and yet there is an overwhelming understanding among the viewers that Brady is wrought with confidence, his eyes can't hide it. Manning unconsciously takes a step back, an aura of fear surrounds him. It's as if Manning is no longer present in this moment, as if he has seen a ghost that terrorizes his soul. Brady looks to Manning and says, "Good Luck." Manning, still as if he was under a sinister trance whimpers, "I fought the Law, and the Law won." Brady reaches in for a hug, the crowd cheers in deafening fashion, Brady whispers to Manning, "Now you meet the Butler, and the Butler will serve."
Now it isn't known for sure, but some say a single tear was seen on Manning's cheek as he walked to the sideline. A tear that would be the precursor to the now famous Brady vs. Manning XVII. But you see son, that is a story for another time.
