I turned off the game at half-time.

When I was at Pats/Steelers game I sat in Sec 111 and there were a couple of guys acting like Dumbazzez, they were season ticket holders obviously last call for alcohol should've been before they entered Gillette. Then they bailed end of 3rd qtr to beat traffic on US1. I've been goin to games since 1978 sat on those benches at Sullivan, Schaeffer Foxboro Stadium what ever it was called back then and I NEVER left until game was over and I drove back to NY right after. Never could understand it, just stay home, drink, falldown. TRUE Fans always SHOW UP!

Public urination is a misdemeanor and an arrestable offense. Doing it in a crowded venue is obnoxiously ignorant. The ignorant need to be educated.I remember the old days, the Sullivan Slaydium days. That kind of crap was tolerated and made the venue a sewer at times. Tickets were cheap and the attitude was grin and bear it.Not today. No one should be collateral damage in a moron mayhem parade.

Obviously you are capable of a wide avenue of disgression, Deb but that crap , at THESE prices, is degradation of the product intended for consumption, enjoyment of the game. Call security next time.

I hear ya, Joker, but the lawyer in me says it's unfair to report such an incident when I wasn't there and can't actually identify the culprit (there's a chance, not a big one, admittedly, that it wasn't someone from their group, for instance). If it happens again I will report it, I promise. Until then I will probably continue to be a spectator to the moron mayhem parade (a term which made me LOL).

One of the worst experiences of my life was with my wife (gf at the time) and two lady cousins at the old Sullivan Stadium. Going there now is a treat.

The season ticket holders are not keeping up their end of the bargain and deserve to be reported.

some day during the offeseason I'll outline my idea for the dream web site I always wanted to host on the net...IntergalacticMoron.com...but, uh...moron that later.....:verycool:

Aw, come on. There were some good things about the old Fox. I had tickets in the north end zone and when I went to the ladies room at half time I would be the only one in there. For once in my life it was the GUYS who had to wait in line!

Truth to tell, I turned the TV off when they went down 24-0, simply because it was driving me nuts and I had an early morning. But I did follow the third quarter on one of the Sports web pages while doing some night work on my computer and then turned it back on when the Pats had cut the deficit to 24--14 and were driving. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and dragged my sorry ass out of bed at 5AM on about four hours sleep. Worth it.

So, I guess I'd grade myself C as a fan on Sunday night. I did turn the set off because of the damage watching was doing to my fragile Patriots psyche, so that's definitely a D (not an F because I did have to get up early). But I never really gave up and kept following the game and came back when they were still down 10 and the outcome was definitely in doubt. So, I'll give myself a B there, for a C average.

jeezus, you must have gotten straight A's in rationalization class....

I give myself a B+. I never turned off the game but I snarked loudly about wanting to. I didn't believe they could come back until 24-14. But even then I was pretty much thinking it would end up like SanFran as a best case scenario.

Thanks Tune, but I think the probable penalty (loss of tickets) is too harsh for the crime, which is mostly just talking and crowing too loudly and stumbling around drunk. The only incident I would have spoken up about (and maybe reported) is the peeing between the seats, but I wasn't there, so I don't know who actually did it. It seems to be two guys who have the tickets, and they bring two friends (different people) every week, so it might have been one of the "guests." They announced proudly to me at the start of the game that it was "the first game" of the toe-stomper and knocker-downer, so presumably he won't be there next time. The irony is these guys think I am their best friend and when they are not falling on top of me (or each other) they are high-fiving me into oblivion.

On the plus side, they have never covered their ears or complained that I am yelling too loud, a problem I have suffered elsewhere in Gillette and in other venues.

THere are serious Pats fans on the wait list who would appreciate the opportunity to buy STs. Report 'em.

In the old stadium there were always these 20 somethings who arrived after the 1st QTR and spent the game either getting more food and beer or making out. I kid you not. They'd always leave at the start of the 4th QTR. These were 50 yd line great seats.

The funniest time was when they were at a subsequent game *****ing about how they'd missed the Pats comeback win the game before. Morons.

I have never ever turned off the tv during a Patriots game no matter how bad the game is. But to be honest, that was the first time that I have ever given up hope that the Pats could pull off the win. The 49ers game last year was similar or worse than this game but I never gave up hope because I knew that the Patriots just had a few bad breaks during the first half. The Pats always fight to the end and even though they lost the game, I was right in that they fought back and made a game of it in the end.

This Denver game felt different though and at halftime with the game 24 to 0 and with the way things were going for them I honestly thought there is no way in hell that the Pats can come back from this and win. But even then, I never stopped watching and I'm glad that I didn't.

Collinsworth called it in the 1st qtr when he said " this is weird. Usually it's Manning who has to come from behind because it's usually the Patriots who jump ahead early but now it looks like Brady is going to be the one who's going to have to pull off the comeback to win the game." And that's exactly what he did.

I was at a CFL greycup party. As soon as the pats game started I went up stairs and watched the game till halftime. My wife and went home at that point. As I left I told my friend they'll make the usual adjustments at halftime. Lol

Finished watching at home, they had just scored the 1st TD when I turned on the tube.

Did the same. It was late and sleep was calling. Woke up at 1:30am and checked the score on my ipod. Nestled into my pillow with a smile and went back to sleep secure in the knowledge that this game will be replayed.

I'm a total idiot. Left the game at halftime. If I'd been wearing socks or had been able to feel my toes, I would have stayed. Pats fan since I was 8 back in '99. I feel like an ass.

I was only wearing one sock for the game, feet were painfully cold. I could only find one sock when I got the message asking if I wanted tickets and I was in Vermont
