My view : I like our OL starters. I am worried about its depth.

I always worry about our depth across the board, and we are one of the deepest teams in the league.

I hear you. I suppose it's nitpicking since most teams can't even trust thei starters... There are several positions that I worry about less though - for example WR. I think our depth there is pretty good.

The oline is what it is, solid all year until the playoffs, I'll judge them in the divisional round. The dline was the upgraded area and looks horrible so far.

Great pickup on Shields and possibly Solder.

Some interesting tape.

You say Shields (as in Will Shields) but then talk about Brian Waters. Both were formerly of the Chiefs.. Shields retired.

But they both have brought a lot to the O-line.. As has Connolly as the new starting Center.. Connolly has played very well there and held up extremely well against Garay and Soliai. Next, he's going up against a Top 3 NT in Kyle Williams. This will be his toughest assignment. If he can handle it, then the Offense should do well..

My concerns rest with Donald Thomas, Ryan Wendell and Thomas Welch, right now. Those are the primary back-ups for Center, Guard, and OT.

Agreed but didn't Connolly release Garay, letting him have a clear path to Brady, which almost took out Brady's knee? I could be wrong, need to watch the full footage later on.

Even good players get beat by other good players now and then..
