I’ve seen patriot teams with worst talent have better results on the field.

Because 6 superbowl in 9 appearances
Okay. But what about other teams that don't have problems drafting certain positions (you know which ones they are) and what happens when the GOAT QB can't cover up those mistakes?

Or goat def schemes/coaching...

Bills gonna be gone soon too man I feel like nobody is bringing this up or they want it to happen.

He will say he's done when he breaks Shula's record imo.

I think he'll break it but I'm not as sure if he will do that as Pats head coach

I just... hope Bill called Tom to congratulate him on the signing, sb, etc.

just have some mf class.

Bill is currently 48 regular season wins behind Shula. Assuming he coaches another 5 years (which is a stretch), he needs about 10 wins per season. He better start now or he ain't making it.

Quite odd he said that given the way 2019 played out. Even though he was quoting the media, that comment in 2018 was accurate as that team really wasn’t that good.
Good enough to win the Super Bowl but not that good… a comment only possible in New England.

RE 2014. Gronk ain't coming back so stop with that nonsense. He was the main reason they started playing better.

Let's look for special teams and the Oline to be improved. Small steps.

At 2-2 in the Fall of 2014, the entire team looked finished. QB or no.
Yep, they were playing poorly, not executing and making mistakes.

Gronk wasn’t hurt in 2014.

Who are you quoting in this reply?

“We’re onto Cincinnati” - BB 2016

The same posters saying that ^ team wasn’t talented enough are the same ones saying it now.

“We’re too old, too slow, we have no talent” - Tom Brady to Hogan after the 2018 Super Bowl win

The same posters saying that ^ team wasn’t talented enough are the same ones saying it now.

Some fans have no concept of the difference between a lack of talent and simple poor execution. This team isn’t lacking talent, they’re playing poorly.
That was 2014 Matt. CTE setting in?

Yeah he’s smart enough to know this. I imagine by like week 8-9ish he knows what we got roster wise and regardless of the record I would imagine he assesses off boarding/macs dev/however many years until were in playoff contention and decide whether it’s worth it.

basically, want Bill looking at next 2-3 years, Kraft at the next ten

Gee…there was just no way to see the 2014 Patriots turning it around with Brady, Gronkowski, Edelman, Amendola, LaFell, Vereen, Revis, Ryan, Browner, McCourty, Chung, Wilfork, Jones, Collins, etc.

They were only the consensus Super Bowl favorite with an absolutely stacked lineup on both sides of the ball.
