How would you feel about this?

Brady agrees to a 2 game suspension for non-cooperation. In return, League states no definitive proof of Brady knowledge of any wrong doing and team gets both draft picks back. Would you be cool with that?
In a word, no.

I agree with Bruce Allen (who I think must be reading this board b/c a poster on here beat him to it): "my offer is nothing".

*literally didn't read the op or any other posts*

No

The league has already stated that there's no definitive proof that any wrongdoing occurred, so that wouldn't be any kind of concession. The best they could get to was "more probably than not generally aware of something that more probably than not happened", and even that's a huge stretch.

So no, nobody in their right mind would be okay with that.

Favre was fined $50k for not cooperating in a sexual harassment claim.

Let's go with that as being the start of something that people can begrudgingly agree with.

If you want a fair proposal....Brady agrees to drop everything if an unbiased investigator agreed to by both the NFL and the NFLPA reviews all the evidence to determine if any wrong doing occurred. Of course, both the Patriots AND the NFL agree to make all personnel available for interview.

No, and I don't expect the NFLPA would be down with it, either, because it sets a terrible precedent.
