Rather than compiling all that raw data, perhaps take some key stats (some lesser-known ones could be interesting) from other sites, and see where the Patriots rank week-to-week.LOL, I completely agree with you and actually tried that a couple years ago, but unfortunately it's a 15-hour process to do them all each week and I only made it a few weeks before I ran out of gas with that. This is daunting enough for one team as it is
A few sites that you could use could include Football Outsiders (stats include DVOA, DYAR, Playoff Odds, Team Efficiency, OL, DL, Special Teams and much more). With rankings rather than just raw numbers we as fans get to see how the Patriots compare to other teams, and with it done on a week-to-week basis we see if they are improving, staying steady or declining.
A couple other stat sites that I like include TeamRankings.com and SportingCharts.com - they both have dozens of team stats such as offensive and defensive yards per play, yards per point, penalty yards, differential between the team and opponent for all the stats, etc. - as well as a lot of great individual stats.
