dont forget about another big gronk incompletion which was brady missing a wide open gronk in the middle that probalby would have been 6.

I'm breaking my vow to indulge the sci-fi nerd in me. If that's ruled a catch, the timeline changes, maybe Gronk doesn't get hurt, and... ah, never mind

Better yet, can you imagine the absolute uproar if Gronk's injury came in the second half of the Broncos Divisional Playoff game?

That situation is one area where I strongly disagree with Belichick's thinking.

The only thing I wanted to see in the 2nd half of the DEN game was the majority of the starters resting. I think the bye week through a wrench into the popular thought that it'd be better to rest starters in that scenario, due to the lack of playing time lately.

At least that's what I'm hoping the case was anyway, b/c nothing else makes much sense besides the argument that you can use the time for a glorified scrimmage/padded practice.

the matrix has you.

You take the red pill, and he's inbounds, and the drive continues. You take the blue pill, and he's out of bounds. They go on to lose the Super Bowl, and you believe whatever you want to believe.

Barring a suddenly developed sinkhole, that would have been six. No one is arguing that Brady was on cue all season. He was clearly labored by something, and this was just another example. He was trying to drop it in behind a LB and missed, quite badly for his standards. At his age, it's probably a chronic thing. It's the hyperbaric chamber for TFB all off-season

Just promise you'll find me before I go into arrest!

Really, though, can we just get one more SB win here before the 3-ringers are all gone
