Gordon to IR

That’s completely false, considering he’s the second most productive wide receiver that Brady has had in the last two season, but carry on with your baseless hate.

He has not been good before the Giants game this season. This is not debatable. Belichick clearly agrees.

Bro, he has a knee injury. No sh*t he hasn’t been good.

You seem to keep forgetting that an injury can impact a player’s performance...

Weirdest year since Lawyer Milloy? I'm sure they've been others but AB, Gordon, trading Bennett. DRAMA.

Even before his injury he underwhelmed.

He has been a disappointment and moving on was the logical move.

But if he's been hurt all year and not producing, isn't that a good reason to IR him? Playing devil's advocate here.

The entire offense has underwhelmed, so you’re not really proving a thing.

At the end of the day, you can’t justify keeping JAG Tomlinson on the roster over Josh Gordon. It’s not humanly possible to make that argument.

You’re twisting yourself into a pretzel to try and justify this decision and it’s quite odd.

We have an open roster spot.

So what exactly was the point in IRing him if you’re just rolling with 52 guys?

By the time next week someone is signed, Gordon is probably near a return.

It doesn’t make much sense to rashly IR him when your going into a week down a player anyway.

Gordon cannot seperate at all anymore, looks slow and disinterested.

Laughable at best that you are trying to tell people that you know better than BB who saw Gordon everyday at practice and in the meeting rooms.

You keep saying the same stuff and disregarding the plain fact that a knee injury will hurt your mobility and separation.

Again bro, no sh*t he hasn’t looked himself.

Now tell me how IRing him when there’s an open roster spot makes a lick of sense, especially when he could return in a week or so.

Since when does BB act rashly?

Your assuming that they weren't thought out. When he traded Thomas they had AB. When they cut Brown, it may have been quick, I was for it at the time because of the whole text thing which I think you can construe as threatening. Don't bring kids into anything. Scumbag move. Keep in mind that nobody else has signed Brown either so maybe not so rash.

Gordon hasn't performed because of injury which is why you IR someone.

You are just assuming that they didn't think these decisions through. You have no evidence to back it up.

This season presents quite a few rash decisions.

Trading Thomas, cutting Brown, IRing Gordon.

There’s three right there. All at the same position too.
They’ve been surprising but that does not mean they were “rash” decisions. I have to assume that they were all well thought out. That doesn’t mean perfect, but also not rash per se.

And I don’t think BB decided to cut AB... that one was rash and it’s on Kraft.

All the way to back THEN??????

You meant the last game he played????????

.

To me it all started with not drafting a TE (i think they should have drafted 2 actually) ... then trying to over compensate at WR.

Not to mention the threat of opening up the SB 52 can of worms on this website again...........

I'm sure you're much better informed than the team staff and coaches.

BB didn't want Gordon on the team. He replaced him with Sanu. He wanted to release him. The proper procedure is to put him on IR, even if he might pass a physical in a couple of weeks.

There was no reason for him to be on the roster and to pay him for another week.

I understand why folks might want to keep Gordon on the roster to compete for reps with Harry and or Meyers, or even keep Gordon and NOT activate Harry.

However, given that BB chose to have Sanu instead, and probably add Harry, I don't see why folks are so confused.

We have an open roster spot.

The question was "Since when does BB make rash decisions?"
I doubt very much the 1st and 3rd were 'rash' decisions, in fact I'd bet money they were anything but. As for the second, even though I doubt BB made it I still have no doubt it wasn't made rashly. If it were AB wouldn't have participated in practice before he was cut.
