He is doing all he can to make this stick. The judge shouldn't matter on this case. The evidence is against the NFL.

Here is all we need to know about Brady's preferences. Never asked for less than legal inflation. The officials no doubt intentionally over-inflated them at times. I'm sure he ticked them off. There surely are some of them that see him as a prima donna and it rankles them. This is starting to look like they have been screwing with Brady for a while over this.

The fact that neither the league nor Wilson knew what happens to a football when you take it from the lockerroom onto a football field at 40 degrees or under is pretty embarrassing. And for all this talk about "integrity of the league" nobody in the history of the NFL has ever caused more mayhem or damage to the league's integrity than Goodell.

It is nothing but an orchestrated conspiracy against the Pats. Good thing it was orchestrated by morons and the Pats and Brady have enough money to contest it.

"The Baltimore Ravens have denied playing any role in the ongoing Deflategate for months, but according to documents filed by the NFL Players Association on Tuesday, the Ravens have been lying all along."

I think way too much is being made over whether anything was done and whether Brady was involved. At this point let's say there was a video of McNally meeting Brady in the bathroom and them laughing together as they deflated the footballs by 0.01 PSI each. The real issue is why wasn't it a 25k fine or a warning to stop.

I think way too much is being made over whether anything was done and whether Brady was involved........................
I think that there is several teams, along with goodell, kensil, and others in the NFL office that are conspiring to take down the Pats a notch or two. That is where the focus should be. The Ravens Harbaugh has denied being involved in this, says that his team didn't rat out the Pats, yet there are now emails made public that dispute that. Harbaugh says he knew nothing about it. Sure, we're to believe that his assistant coaches set that up on their own.
Here we have the Ravens in an obvious lie, yet all the effort and investigating by goodell, wells, espn, and most of the media is to try to connect Brady to something by suggesting a scenario that didn't occur. Yet because there is a possibility the Patriots could have cheated they are nailed to the wall.
It is possible for every team to cheat every week. It is beyond ridiculous, it is insane, to prosecute someone on them having the physical ability to do something and that alone is all the evidence.

I don't believe goodell is insane, so the only other possible reason is that it is being done intentionally. And clearly it is.
I can only hope, and it is hopeless, that the media starts asking questions about this whole set up, frame job. Only when you view this situation from that angle does any of it make sense.

Truly impartial observers can see what is going on. Tho some would argue that Bill Simmons has an axe to grind with espn, he didn't until this started and they fired him. He certainly had no axe to grind with goodell, at least that I am aware of, other then his criticism of goodell's past dealings with other events, like rice, spygate, bountygate, concussions, etc.

A pretty good read here also.

This from one commenter on that article: "
Mike Felger, Tony Massarotti, and Gary Tanguay, please take note. Also, JjXxz, please read this and get lost. And, speaking of JjXx, here some information for you, since you are so uninformed you keep posting false information about Brady not allowing a keyword search:

A forensic analysis of more than 5,300 emails exchanged by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the months before and after the January 18 AFC Championship Game revealed that Brady never once discussed the air pressure in game footballs — but the future Hall of Famer does carry on email conversations about a variety of other topics ranging from the possibility of economic “deflation” to the price of covers for the outdoor pool at his home.
The forensic analysis was conducted as part of the investigation by attorney Ted Wells of the “Deflategate” allegations that Brady improperly instructed Patriots personnel to let out air of game footballs before the AFC title game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The emails were made public in the same court filing by the NFL Player’s Association on Tuesday, along with the complete forensic analysis by Brad Maryman of Maryman & Associates — a former FBI Special Agent and FBI-certified forensic computer-evidence examiner — who was hired by Wells to examine the 5,317 emails sent and received by Brady in the five-month period between September 1, 2014 and March 1, 2015.
Wells instructed Maryman to search Brady’s email cache for dozens of specific keywords that could relate to the air pressure of footballs. Among those keywords were “air-pump, needle, pin, PSI, pounds per square inch, 12.5, bladder, McNally, Bird, 1 pound,” and many others. Maryman found no references to “McNally” in any of the 5,317 emails.
The single reference to “one pound” in the massive stack of emails referred to the dietary practice of consuming one pound of protein per day.

The term “deflate” or “deflation” came up in the emails only in relation to media reports of the Deflategate scandal — or in discussions with his personal financial advisor in which Brady expresses concern about economic deflation and inflation.

The word “pump” occurred 94 times — in reference to “prices at the gasoline pump,” as well as “installing a pump to pump water” and “pumped as a way to express excitement.”

In one particularly irrelevant email exchange that has now become public record, Brady is informed by his personal manager that he must purchase a second swimming pool cover for $8,500, a price which appears to leave Tom Brady appalled and referring to the pool specialists who sold him his first pool cover as “f*****g idiots.”

And more here: "On July 28, 2015, after a six-month investigation, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell denied Tom Brady's appeal with the baseless claim that Brady had not cooperated with the NFL's investigators by destroying his cell phone and must therefore suffer the penalty of suspension. In fact, neither the commissioner nor his three law firms ever told Brady that failure to produce his phone would be viewed as a separate charge of obstruction. Indeed, in the hearing, Brady testified that if he had been aware of that claim, he would have turned over his cell phone -- and in fact he did turn over the telephone's materials. The fact is the NFL rejected Brady's offer to cooperate."

The tide has turned pretty much completely, in the media, against goodell.
Haters are gonna hate, and no one can prevent that, but at least the truth is becoming clearer and goodell's agenda more transparent.

How can a Patriot fan not enjoy what's coming for goodell? This is great...and remember, goodell picked this judge because he was afraid the one the NFLPA was gonna get would disagree with him. He forgot one thing - judges rule on law, and goodell is so far on the wrong end of that no judge in America would rule in his favor.
