Facts are that Judon was the best player on the NE defense until he was injured.

I expect they’re now working the phones trying to find trade interest. I doubt they’ll find any. So in a few days we’ll see if they’ll try to salvage something or not. I hope they’ll at least engage in negotiations, as it seems they’ve not yet done so.

In that situation, you announce you're letting the player find a trade and bring it back to you. Let Judon see what the market is really like out there for him. I don't know what it really is. I think he's underpaid, but I'm not sure how much another team is willing to give to him.

Judon will be 32 next Month Pass Rushers can play up to 34-35 give him a Three year extension. For The Trade Judon Club this Defense will be called Third and First without him. Barmore is out indefinitely we have the $$$$$ re-up the man. They keys to this Defense are Judon - Barmore and Gonzo one cog is already missing. Uche - Wise and White are not Judon unless Mayo knows something we don't.

Yeah I agree it wasn't a good look but Judon is one of your Best Defensive Players who is underpaid and you're sitting on a lot of $$$$$. I don't blame him or his Agent we have paid everybody else in house it seems.

No the difference is you don't show up your coach and act out like that on the field over an off the field business decision.

You want to hold out? Fine. You want to talk **** through media and agent? Fine. You just can't think you can undermine the coach and become a distraction on the practice field.

This will simply show the other players that the coach does not need to be respected and a rookie coach can't have that.

No. All teams team go through this as I said. Judon's behavior is on him not the coach! Now had multiple players been acting like judon on then it's on the HC. I just think we need to all relax a bit. These things happened under Bill too! In the early to mid 2000s practices weren't lived streamed every facet of a players life wasn't on social media like today.

I am also for the players to get what they feel they deserve. Judon is also working without an agent. So from that aspect shame on him.

What's hurting judon is he's operating without an agent. Not saying you can't get a deal done without one.. but organizations Don't take you as seriously whenever you don't have an agent. Rosenhause is the best in the business.. if you're a player obtain the best.. that 10% you pay him will pay dividends for a player. I really don't know what what the future will hold without judon. We definitely will have to temper expectations on defense.. maybe the offense will finally show up this season.?

I didn't say not report it. Please proof read my post. I'm simply saying people are using anything... anything to justify why mayo shouldn't have been hired. That was the point of my post. What was yours?

Agree. It's unfortunate with Barmore.. but loosing both hurts big time.

Teams will try to ignore it as long as possible before it gets out of hand. It's definitely pointing toward him getting traded soon. The contingency in the trade will be the other team working out a new deal with him.

I called this a long time ago that Judon was eventually going to realize his massively underpaid and his teammates getting paid didn't help.

Judon is not massively underpaid. He did have the misfortune of losing a season to injury at a critical time in his career though.

there's two ways to do things ... the right way and that way.

If Judon wants to "hold in", im good with that... its a business, and he should go for as much as he thinks he's worth... Doesn't mean the Patriots have to let him him be an obvious distraction on the practice field.

Dumping their best player on defense would be a clear message they’re tanking, giving up on this season. Robert will not allow that. He is running out of patience. The future needs to be now.

Because of the historical two decade run they gave us I'm willing to be lenient for one decade. They deserve that after all they gave us. They're halfway there.

I hope Mayo is learning from this, because contract issues are a fact of life in the NFL. It was really naive of him to bless Judon's initial whining to the press. Next time I hope he says something along the lines of handling private business in private. He needs to stop trying to be the anti-BB and find balance between being friendly with the players and establishing himself as an authority figure.
