Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

Thats my question If they found fake dope at CJs house, why did Foxboro Police not charge him with possession?

Because he's a patriot and they likely looked the other way

It really is absurd. You can smoke fake grass legally and loose your whits about you but you can't buy a bottle of beer on Sundays at Market Basket?

With that said, there a little section in the Stop & Shop in Westboro near where I live but its ridiculously overpriced.

In Wegman's in Northboro the have a kick-ass section. Its a full-blown liquor store with a very good wine and beer selection.

I vacation in Maine and in Hannaford also has beer, wine and booze. Its like I'm being naughty.

This state is so bass-akwards....

Supermarkets can get a license the problem is that licenses are only approved for up to 7 under one name. Use to be up to three 6 years ago.

So what convenience store chains do is either Franchise their stores(Tedeschi's 7/11 etc) or have a higher up apply for the license I their name and "buy" a spot in the store. Or some liquor stores who have a few locations did would actually have different corporation names to get more than the law allowed.

Hello, fellow forum member @TommyBrady12 .

Thank you.

Well because it is not illegal to possess or use it. What exactly would they charge him with when no crime was committed.

you forgot young. There are many young men who lack basic common sense.
Young ..... at 25? I suppose it all boils down to how one defines, young. When I was his age, I was way past being able to use the "young and lacking common sense" excuse in my life.

So you didn't do anything stupid at the age of 25? You must be the only one who didn't! I say congrats!

Theres another thread on this very forum right now with people claiming that anyone who is 18 must know better than to make any wrong decisions in their life.

I did plenty of crazy and silly things when I was a kid but not when I was a man of 25.

Have yet to read that one. Sorry if I am repeating.

Bill is too old and too close to #5 to get on his moral high-horse and make a point during the playoffs.

Besides, his son Brian has been nailed for weed. Does he really want to be Nancy Reagan now?

I guarantee Bill has toked a few times in his youth.

Unless the league does some BS back-room strongarming CJ plays.

Weed and spice are different, though. If it's weed, whatever. This is a much bigger deal than weed, legality notwithstanding. It's a pretty serious lapse of judgement, and it's not like Belichick hasn't been known to mete out punishment.

It's funny this happened on the same day the state sent people to Colorado to look into making weed legal.

This is your brain on spice

You're not repeating, I'm saying that a lot of people on this forum have the foolish belief that all young adults should be infallible when making decisions.

I see. My original post had nothing to do with age and was simply a reference to an example of a talented and rich athlete who lacks basic common sense. Frankly, young was never a consideration for me when posting this due to Jones' age of 25.

I can't find the other thread in question but I am curious to read what other people believe is the age that one needs to attain in order to remove the "young" excuse.

Considering that states have the alcohol age at 21 and are raising the tobacco age to the same, I'd suggest that it's likely the age where there is still a valid "young" excuse will continue to rise.
