Former Patriots WR Dorsett, Not Signing With Seahawks Last Year Was a 'Mistake' He Didn't Want to Repeat

Ian Logue

Last season certainly didn't turn out quite the way many people had hoped and if he had it all to do over again, it sounds like former Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett would have also done things differently.

Well good luck to him. He may have been a WR 3/4 but he made some huge memorable catches.

Slowest fast guy in NFL

So sorry that coming back in 2019 to the team with which he had just won a Super Bowl was "a mistake."

Let's get this straight - Philip Dorsett has played in 6 playoff games in his NFL career - all with New England. It always bugs me for guys to leave here without thinking about what it meant to be part of this dynasty.

He should've played in NE in 2019. Pats were desperately short on WRs.

Yeah. Look at Dion Lewis now. Hope he’s enjoying that one win vs. us. Hope it helps compensate for having to live with his 2.3 YPC since leaving here.

Its so funny how dumb these comments are by former Patriots. Resigning with Super Bowl champs is a dumb move ? Though these comments are not rare. Can't tell you how many times players have left a championship team, and at their press conference with their new teams, they say "I just wanted to sign with a team that has a chance of winning", or something to that effect.

let's see, he was pushed down the roster chart by Josh Gordon when with the Pats....and isn't Gordon with Seattle now, although currently suspended?
