Coming up from Providence on Sunday night. Want to come up, tailgate and drink a couple of adult beverages and wander around before game time. What time should I leave Providence to avoid the worst traffic? Should I follow Waze or does anyone have a good route? Where should I park (someone suggested around the Enterprise lot). We don't mind walking. Any bars or restaurants up there that wont be mobbed? Anything special to see? Will it be real windy in Section 311?

Thanks for any input you may have. This is definitely a bucket list item.

Here's wishing you a great bucket list kind of day as you pop your Patriots cherry.

From the south you're best following Waze. You want to make sure you park south of the stadium to make it a little easier getting out of the traffic mess. Bars in Patriots Place but get there early. Wind? It's 75 today. You'll want to leave Prov no later than 3:30. Don't wear a Jesters/Jills or LOLphin hat. Have fun!

It's lower than you think.. ;)
